Lindsay Lohan : 'Dancing With The Stars'

To waltz or not to waltz ... according to RadarOnline.com , Lindsay is currenting in secret talks with Dancing With The Stars' to join next season's cast.

"Lindsay has been talking with the 'Dancing With The Stars ' people ," a source close to the actress exclusively told Radar ." She is definitely interested and considering being in the show .

But GossipCop.com is reporting Lohan isn't anywhere near starring on the show . In fact , her rep tells the website . "Lindsay Lohan is not doing 'Dancing With The Stars' . The story is false."

Radar also reports that the 'Mean Girls' actress is still in treatment and her team at Betty Ford would fully support the idea of Lindsay appearing  on the hit show.

Lindsay's treatment team thinks 'Dancing With The Stars' would be a perfect transition back to work for her . Lindsay would have a set schedule everyday ,  she would be occupied and would be very productive . Lindsay wanted their approval before proceeding in talks with the producers and she got it , said the source.

My take : I personally think this would be great for Lindsay . The structure alone would be helpful for her rehab and recovery . Lindsay is a beautiful young woman that was derailed to another train track and needs something like this . And , Lindsay could probably go all the way and win the MirrorBall Trophy . I am all for it . I really want to see her get turned around and back on the right track .  At least Lindsay is not related to a politician so she is half way there ... go for it Lindsay !!!

A Source Says : 'Dancing With The Stars' Wants Lindsay Lohan

Even though her 'Inferno' director expressed huge relief that he had replaced  her with another actress , Lindsay Lohan's  career is far from over . A source tells  RadarOnline.com  that reality  TV sensation  'Dancing With The Stars'  is interested  in adding  Lohan to the cast next season.

"Dancing With The Stars'  producers have had Lindsay on their wish list of castmates for a very long time , " a source  with knowledge of the situation told RadarOnline.com Tuesday . And though they've been wary of Lohan history before , they are taking notice of her recent and productive stay at Betty Ford Treatment Center.

"The producers were concerned about Lohan's erratic behavior , but they are taking another look at asking her to come for the next season  because she is doing so well  at her sober living facility " the source said. "The producers are aware  that she could be available  because  she is not going to film 'Inferno."

The source also tells RadarOnline.com  that Lohan's next career choice  will be heavily  tied to  what's best for her sobriety . "Lindsay  won't be making only decisions about what she chooses for her next  project without consulting  first with her treatment  team , but Lindsay has taken that step herse;f , which is  a very,very positive sign," the source said.

In addition to all positive exposure associated  with the show , it seems there's  another reason 'Dancing With The Stars' might be the best choice  for the 'Mean Girls' actress, the money . "It pays very well . Lindsay has a limited income  coming in and this could help get her out the red," the source added.

A rep from the show said they do not comment on casting.
