George Clooney : Says He's Done "Too Many Drugs" To Be A Politician

George  Clooney may be politically  active , but the actor who has been talked about as a possible candidate says, "I didn't live my life in the right way for politics , you know .

He tells Newsweek , "I f**ked to many chicks  and did too many drugs  , and that's the truth."

Uh , sounds like he's perfect for politics .

Still , Clooney says a good politican  gets all the skeltons out early , noting he "would start at the beginning  by saying , "I did it all , I drank tthe bong water , now lets talk about issues ." That's gonna be my campaign slogan : "I drank the bong water ."

Clooney , however , spends less time focusing on the U.S. politics than he does Sundan  where he's devoted considerable effort drawing attention to the war torn region .

About the relief workers in that area  , Clooney says ,  "These guys have a day job that pays them nothing  and  is dangerous  . My day job pays very well  and the worst thing that happens is you get some bad food fron craft service .

Clooney stars as a politician  in the up-coming film  , 'The ides of March.'

Jamie Foxx : In Fight At 'Usher' Concert

Jamie Foxx got in a fight at  an 'Usher' concert last night in Hollywood .

A fellow audience  member sucker punched Foxx while he was hanging out in the lounge area of the performance venue Avalon.

The  Oscar-winner defended himself , slugging his attacker before security guards broke up the scuffle .

Foxx was not hurt.

Anthony Hopkins : Reportedly In Talks To Play Alfred Hitchcock

Anthony Hopkins might be leaping from one horror legend to another .

The 'Silence of The Lambs star is reportedly in talks to star as Alfred Hitchcock in a  film about the legendary director .

A project in development could potentially have Hopkins as the lead in an adaptation of Alferd Hitchcock and the making of 'Psycho' according to THR.

The story follows Hichcock's initially unpopular decision to create what became one of the most influential movies in history , as well as his relationship with wife 'Alma Reville.'

Make the film guys , it will be a   blockbuster.

Pollapalooza ! Dating Dish --- In The Closet And Out !

We never get tired of hearing who's dating whom in hollywood  , and we certainly jump at the opportunity  to predict the next hot romance , fake or not ! Problem is , we can't really decide , ultimately , just what kind of romancing  James Franco and Oprah Winfrey perfer .

And what about Jake Gyllenhaal ? We know he has a thing for blondes , but if Franco turns to the other team ...would they  just not make the most perfect couple ? Of course we'd have talk to talk to Jake about it , 'dammit.'

More than 90 percent said that you will continue to love J.P. , gay or straight  , and a lot of you are on the same page  . This is the 21st century , after all . There is no need for some kind of heartfelt disclosure interview on Ellen if  Franco switches to men . Nonstory , as it should be .

Now to poor Jake Gyllenhaal ... With Jaylor long gone  and Franco possibly down for dudes  , just need to ask you whether Gyllenhaal should hunt for a brunette or simply make Brokeback Mountain his reality .

More than 30 percent suggested Jake should stay put onthe heter-bandwagon and settle down with  Anna Hathaway . The two worked side-by-side in  'Love and Other Drugs  and Brokeback Mountain,' so the chemistry must be there . They also agreed that Anne could use a nice guy like Jake , especially after her last guy ended up behind bars . What rotten luck !

But then , close behind sweetie Anne for Jake's next proposed honey was Mila Kunis  and Mr. Franco , both tied at 25 percent  in second place , and everyone was happy to agree that Jake choose a darker mate (those blondes have been such trouble for him), and heck , both are  uber-attractive possibilities .

Let's take a look : I don't get it , why is it the  'WE' must know who's gay or not ? Your sexually does not define who you are . It only  defines who you SCREWED ... and that is not one's business  !  it is fun to find out who's been hiding in the closet or under the bed  ...lets just except  them as they are  .

Not to worry girls .... Jake is still into gals .  

Michael Douglas : 'The Tumor Is Gone'

Michael Douglas tells  Matt Lauer  his  tumor is "gone" and it's looks like he has beaten throat cancer .

In an interview scheduled to air tomorrow on  'Today,' the Oscar-winning actor talks about the "wild six-month ride" since his diagnosis , the  difficulties of treatment , the role played by his family  and friends , his future in movies and more .

"I feel good, relieved . The tumor is gone," says Douglas . "But you know , I have to get checked  out on a monthly basis now to maintain ."

After telling Lauer that he plans to resume acting and get ready for a  Liberace  biopic , Douglas says , "I think the odds are  with the tumor gone  and what I know about this particular type of cancer that I've got it beat .

Douglas wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and young  children said  where  experience allows you to "just really , really appreciate what's important in life ."

"And we've had a big celebration these last couple of days when I found  the tumor's gone ," adds Douglas .

As much as his loved ones' support helped got him through  the scare , the tabloid media's fixation on Douglas mortality  left him upset .

"There was  sort of a macabre enjoyment  out of sort of watching me go down there for awhile  I felt by  paparazzi ," he recounts .

The full interview  is scheduled to air on  'Dateline NBC' on January 23 .

PIC and I feel happy for Michael Douglas and his family to celebrate this moment . We are happy that the tumor is gone .

Sean Penn : Gets Taken To The Cleaners

Sean Penn normally doesn't talk about his personal life , but while discussing his efforts in Haiti with The Hollywood Reporter , the two time Oscar-winner let slip on why he'll have to start making some money again soon .

"I didn't have commitments  , except for way in the future ; I had nothing pressing ," he said of how he was able to spend most of  2010 in Haiti. "I got practical issues ... I had just got taken for one-half  of everything I  had  in the divorce , so it's not like I don't have to work ."

Penn is , of course , talking about his split from ex-wife Robin Wright , which was finalize  July 22 after several failed reconciliations in the span  of three years .

The Penns first filed for divorce in 2007 , but reconciled a month later . Then , in April 2009 , the Oscar-winning actor asked for a legal separation in court , but retracted his bid the following month . That August Robin Wright  decided to call it quits again and filed for a divorce .

While Robin Wright have spoken of the split on occasion .... telling  MORE magazine she had  "no regrets" ... Penn has always been more grounded .

This summer , Penn told Vanity Fair , "She (Wright) is a ghost to me now ." In his interview with THR , Penn said  that aside from the monetary aspects of his divorce , the separation from his kids , 19-year-old Dylan , and 17-year-old son Hopper , has been worse .

"A much more profound change in life for me personally was not being able to raise my son in a whole family through high school," he said .

Juat a thought : Here's hoping the Penns'  can be decent with each other for the sake of their kids  ...let  the kids know  even they are not together they both support their childrens  (Dylan  &  Hopper Penn)

Kevin Spacey : (Sort Of) Addresses Gay Rumors 'OMG'

The rumers regarding Kevin Spacey's sexuality have officially been reignited . In a new interview  with openly gay Daily Beast writer  Kevin Sessums , the two time Academy Award winner made pains to not directly come out , but did talk candidly about his right to privacy  when it comes to his sexual orientations . When Sessums  told Spacey that there's no shame in  joining the  gay "tribe " the actor reflected without denying it .

"Look I might have lived in England for the last several years  but I'm still an American citizen and I have not given up my right to privacy," Spacey said.

But Sessums didn't back  down , telling the actor that being gay doesn't have to be a private matter and Spacey calmly arged the opposite.

"People have different reasons for the way they live their lives," Spacey said.  "You cannot put everyone's  reasons in the same box . It's just a line I've never crossed  and never will .

Spacey has battled gay rumors for more than ten years , and they're certainly not likely to stop after this interview.

Later when Sessums admitted to quiting acting because he was gay and didn't want to live a lie . Spacey argued that privacy isn't lying.

"I don't live a lie . You have to understand that people who choose not to discuss their personal lives are not living a lie ," Spacey said.  "That is a presumption that people  jump to."

Near the end of the interview , the actor close the discussion of sexuality  by suggusting there may be more to him than meets the eyes .

"Look at the end of the day people have to respect peoples' difference ," Spacey said . "I am different than most  people would like me to be.

My take : Kevin Spacey is a good man and a good actor ...Gay or Straight  , who cares  , that's his business . Spacey  does some good immpressions too ....wait a minute  ... just a thought .... maybe Spacey is waiting for John Travolta to announce it first . Wow what else is new ???

Johnny Depp : Explains Why He Doesn't Have A Phone.



It's impossible to call Jack Sparrow , not because he's to busy , but it's just that he doesn't own a phone . Johnny Depp told Access Hollywood  he likes a tech-free house  and phones are too invasive for him.

"I don't like phones ," Depp said . "I just don't like them ... being reachable all the time ."

The 42-year-old actor doesn't hate all technology though , so if you really  want to reach him  , shoot him an e-mail.

"We have internet and stuff like that because I think that's the safest form , well , most interesting form of communication ,"  Depp said . "You'd have to know , you know just buzz me on the internet or something ."

Depp, apparently on a tear of revealing  why he doesn't own or do things  , recently told Extra  why he and long time girlfriend Vanessa Paradis have not wed . "I never found myself needing that piece of paper ," Depp said. Marriage is really from soul to soul , heart to heart . You don't need somebody to say , okay , you're married ...if Vanessa wanted to get married  , why not ...but the thing is ; I'd be so scared of ruining her last name . She's got such a good last name .

Aretha Wilson was sentenced to  two  years in prison today ... she pled no contest  to assault with a deadly weapon last month .

Once Wilson is out of the slammer  ... she'll be deported back to Canada.

Wilson sliced Leo's face open with a wine glass during a house party in the Hollywood Hills  back in 2005.

Careful out there Leo ...your stalker is still on the loose  .

Johnny Depp : Graces The cover Of Vanity Fair

Johnny Depp graces the cover of the January cover of 'Vanity Fair' ...and in the accompanying interview , the actor talks about avoiding the paparazzi with Angelina Jolie , the execuitives at Disney who didn't like his interpretation  of 'Captain Sparrow' in the Pirates of the Caribbean' movie and how he almost became a musician instead of an actor. Rock legend Patti Smith , guest-writing for the magazine , conducted the interview.

"Meeting and getting to know her was a real pleasent surprise," Depp reveals about Jolie , his co-star in  'The Tourist' , you don't know what she may be like  ...if she has a sense of humor at all . I was please to to find she is incredibly normal , and has a wonderfully kind of dark , preverse sense of humor.

Avoiding the paparazzi , while filming with Jolie  :[always] having to hide  , sometimes not even being able to talk to each other in public because someone will take a photograph and it can be  misconstrued  and turned into some other shit.

On Disney executives not liking my interpretation of Captain Sparrow : They couldn't stand him . "They literally  just couldn't stand him."  I think it was Michael Eisner , the head of Disney at the time , who was quoted as saying , "He's ruining the movie.

"Upper-echelon Disney-ites  going what's wrong with him ? "Is he , you know , like some kind of simpleton ? Is he drunk ? By the way is he gay ?   And so I actually told this woman who was the Disney-ite ...'But didn't you know that all my characters are gay ? Which reall made her nervous."

I think Johnny is very handsome ...looks good even when he is grungy ...Mmmmmmm ...Johnny Depp...Nuff said.

Jack Nicholson : Pulled A Gun On Leonardo DiCaprio

Jack Nicholson pulled a  real gun on co-star Leonardo as they made a movie.

The pair was filming a scene for the 2006 crime thriller 'The Departed.'

The veteran actor  suddenly whipped out a real  pistol  to everyone's surprise.

And director Martin Scorsese says he still gets a fright  when he thinks  about it , according to a new book.

Scorsese said , "The first thing  Jack did was sniff the glass and say , "I smell a rat."

And then he pulled the gun on DiCaprio , Jack didn't tell me he had a gun , it was great . We took a lot out  , but Leo's reaction is real time . 'I still get the chills' .

Scorsese, 68, told author Richard Schickel fot the new book , "Conversations with Scorsese : 'It's  So Real To Me ."

DiCaprio played undercover State Trooper  Billy Costigan in the flick who is sent to penetrate the Boston  Mafia , headed up by Nicholson's character , Frank Costello.

My spin : Just like old Jack to pull a prank like that.... what a 'Joker.'  Now I wonder if  the filming was delayed while DiCaprio  took a shower before resuming  filming .[giggles]

George Clooney : Need A Little PR Jolt ??

Stars needing a little PR  jilt would be wise to folow  to follow Elisabetta Canalis' example : Flash a fake engagement ring. And wait.

George Clooney's other half set off a firestorm at a dinner in Italy when she held up her hand and flaunted something resembling a giant , glittery rock. TMZ quickly posted photos - couching them by saying  the bauble only "looked like" a will-you-marry-me diamond.
Never mind .It was enough , and the press was off and running . Soon, headlines blaring  "George Clooney OFF the Market ?" were everywhere . The Hollywood  poerhouse's rep was quick to shoot down the buzz, saying only that the bling on the Italian model's finger was  "a napkin ring" she was playing around with at the table. Yes . Bizarre.
Those in the thick of the celebrity-gossip fray muse that  it was done for publicity .After all, Canalis , 31, has been a guest star this summer on TNT's 'Leverage' and has a new Italian comedy coming out this fall, 'I Will Marry at Christmas.' Clooney's next film, The American,' is due in theaters in September.
"Clearly people are starting to use these faked rumors simply to keep [themselves] in the news and everybody's faces," Syracuse University pop culture  guru Bob Thompson told PopEater.
It's not the first time the 49-year-old movie star and his girlfriend have been at the heart of rumors - and the the other kind , the ones about breaking up.  Last spring , the tabloids were atwitter with news that the pair , who have been dating since August 2009 , had split. The couple later quashed those rumbling rumors , with Clooney joking wrying to reporters , "Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story."
The famously stubborn bachelor, who was married eons ago , has said he would never take the plunge again because he's afraid he'd "still make a lousy husband ." But a girl can dream, can't she ? Even if it's with a silly old napkin ring? Mind you , Clooney and Canalis are not the first Hollywood couple  to generate a media blitz with bling buzz.

It's  her high school ring , and she wears it almost every day." They pair still have yet to wed.

Sometimes stars seen wearing diamonds deny they're engaged to get hitched  and get hitched in a secret wedding a few months later. (Think Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr ) Why do they do it ? To throw off the press ? To get publicity , then throw off the press ? We can speculate...
And there are those media haters, blast them , who accuse celebrity journalists of being desperate for a story , star-obessed and quick to publish  whatever gossip lands in their inboxes , true or false. To that , I say guilty , sort of quilty and not quilty. In that order.

Either way , we may be seeing Clooney and Canalis  tying the knot in a hush-hush ceremony a couple of months from now. Or we may keep reading the same rumors over and over again. But maybe , just maybe , hearing that Clooney is casting off his long- held bachelorhood will make us buy tickets to "The Americans,"
