Angelina Jolie has lived a life of contradictions. Now a goodwill ambassador and one of the world's most celebrated actress, she's blessed with six beautiful children ( and one Brad Pitt ) , but she was once also a herion addict from a shattered home who went on to steal other women's husbands. This - and so much more - according to the forthcoming bomb-shell tell-all about the actress , 'Angelina : An Unauthorized Biography,' by the mater of such celebrity dirt-fests, Andrew Morton.
Leaks excerpts from the book are fueling so much hype that the publisher St. Martin's Press has moved up it's release date from August 3 to July 31, says USA Today. Critics cite lurid details of the 35-year-old star's childhood as the most compelling morsels Mortom throws his readers.
An affair Jolie's famous father Jon Voight had with starlet Stacey Pickren when Jolie was only a few months old tore apart her family life and set her on a path of teenage rebellion, according to the book.
Her mother Marcheline Bertrand moved out of the posh Beverly Hills high-rise where baby Angelina lived with her dad and was taken care of by nannies. A bitter Bertrand rarely came to see her daughter during the first year of her life because Jolie reminded her too much of her philandering husband, Morton says.
"She separeted herself from that child because she looked a lot like Jon," he writes.
The author traces Jolie's battle with heroin, cocaine and anorexia during her teens and early 20's, her bisexuality, the loss of her virinity at age 14 to a boy named Anton - whom her mother let move into their house - and her addictive romantic relationships with men and women.
Morton outlines her marriages to Jonny Lee Miller ( whom, he says was cheating on her with an old girlfriend and later with an actor Timothy Hutton ) and to Billy Bob Thornton ( whom she clung to as she struggled to get clean ) . Just before she and Thornton tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2000, her mother checked her into the Neuropsychiatric Institute at UCLA for three days.
"In her heightened state, struggling to stay off heroin and wrestling her addiction to Billy Bob , Angie went to pieces ," Morton said.
The 46-year-old Pitt, described as a " bit of a stoner" and Mr. Mom," is characterized by Morton as someone the "Salt" actress had set her sights on long before she buried her claws into him on the set of 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith.'
The actor "was one of the triumvirate of men - the other two were Johnny Depp and William Dafoe - whom Angie had watched and wondered about from afar," says Morton.
And Pitt was equally enthralled. "The corn fed boy was toast," claims Morton. Jolie "came across as a strange exotic wanting to save the world's underclass yet fil her life with children."
In spinning his version of Jolie's relationship with Pitt , the actress is cast as the calculating , bewitching villain who denies any role in the collapse of his marriage . Before the Aniston - Pitt union unreveled , Morton recounts a meeting between the two queens of Hollywood.
"As Angie shook her hand , Jennifer could have been excused for wondering whether she was extending her long slim fingers in friendship or sizing up her next victim, like a hangman judging the length of rope needed for the drop," he writes.
But Jolie is also hailed as a heroine for her work for the U.N. During her trip to Sierra Leone in that role, Morton says, the star "insisted on paying her own way and on being treated like everyone else."
The book hit's shelves on Saturday. Morton predicts that even Jolie , who has tried to divert attention away from it, will feel its impact.
"I think my biography of Jolie will genuinely change the way people view her - and the way she sees herself," Morton tells The Daily Times.

Note to the media : If you're going to publish a story claiming the demise of Brangelina, you better have rock-solid information. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie triumphed in British court Thursday after a notorious tabloid admitted they had published a story filled with "false and intrusive" allegations that the two were planning to split up.
The News of the World, a Sunday tabloid, published a story in January claiming the couple had visited a divorce lawyer and had reached an agreement about division of their assets as well as the custody of their six kids. The headline was "Pitts all over."
Pitt and Jolie, who aren't married , immediately brought legal action against the paper, arguing it had made false and misleading comments about them. The couple demanded a retraction of the sensational story but none was given.
Although the newspaper argued they acted in good faith, they never stood a chance against the power couple . Sorrell Troupe , a divorce lawyer identified by many as the one the couple met with, denied even knowing them.
When the News of the World failed publicly to retract the allegations and apologize to them - thereby leaving their readers in the dark as to the true position - the couple felt they had no alternative than to sue, "the couple's attorney, Keith Schilling, said in a statement . "Today's victory marks the end of the litigaion brought by Brad and Angelina."
The publication's owner, News Group Newspapers, has agreed to publish an apology and pay Pitt and Jolie a settlement, which they intend to donate to charity.
They have declined to comment further.
The couple did not attend the hearing.
My spin : If you have followed our blog ...you saw the post PIC said not to believe all you read and see in the tabloids... a lot of them spice their stories up to sell more papers....now there are still some that bring you the truth and can be trusted....the old saying is "buyer beware."

It’s been a while since Hollywood’s hottest mama opened up to the salivating public, and coincidentally, the actress has a movie to promote (Salt comes out in a few weeks), and there are some obligations even Angelina can’t get out of.
(Funny aside about Salt. Did you all know the spy thriller was originally supposed to star Tom Cruise? Then the main character’s name changed from Edwin to Evelyn and pillow lips replaced platform shoes. Now it will be Tom’s Knight & Day vs. Salt at the summer box office.)
Far more interesting is what the mother of six has to say: about her future in Hollywood, her beloved brood and—finally!—Brad’s billy goat beard.
ANGIE"S REVELATIONS:
1. She may quit acting soon -
Yeah, yeah, we’ve heard this song and dance before from everyone from Gwyneth Paltrow to Anthony Hopkins, but the truth is, most celebrities prove incapable of exiting the spotlight permanently. Ange admits she is grateful for all the advantages acting has afforded: “Look, I’m at work today in the middle of Venice. But I don’t think I’ll do it much longer.” Apparently her home full of “singing and dancing kids” is even more fun. Let’s just see if she feels the same way when she’s got six teenagers.
2. She’s not pregnant
Not sure how anyone could think she is with child given her willowy frame, but she’s not. Jolie says they may add to their family in the future, but for now, spending individual time with each tot is a full-time job.
3. Brad is busy in Venice
Papa Pitt may be on daddy duty while his other-half films The Tourist with Johnny Depp, but he’s also finding time to indulge his passions like art and architecture: “He sculpts, he designs, he makes furniture,” Ange says.
4. She loves her guy’s current homeless look
Brad has been beardy for too long to attribute it to a film role, and it’s not like his now-signature scruff is functioning as any kind of disguise. Yet it remains. But while the rest of us recoil in horror, Ange is a-okay with the facial hair faux pas, saying: “I love Brad in every state.” Awwwwww.
5. Maddox is the family egghead
According to his proud mama, the eldest Jolie-Pitt may have more in common with brainy Jodie Foster than badass Angie. “He’s a real intellectual, which I take no credit for genetically,” she says. (Well duh, you’re not genetically related, so that makes sense.)
6. Zahara could take up the family business
No big surprise, Lady Z has a knack for the theatrical. Ange reveals she has a great voice and “is just so elegant and well spoken.” So maybe the J-P’s have a junior Lady Gaga on their hands. She certainly knows enough about the paparazzi.
7. Shiloh wants to be a boy
After describing her daughter’s much-discussed style as Montenegro-chic, Ange admits that adorable Shi has no interest in playing princesses with Zahara. “She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She thinks she’s one of the brothers.” And on that note, Jolie doesn’t say whether Shiloh’s wannabe boy-status is a concern at this point.
8. Knox and Viv are more gender traditional
“She’s really female and he’s really a little dude,” Jolie says of her youngest. Could have something to do with the fact that two-year-old Knox wears tiny leather jackets, while baby Viv already has her ears pierced!
9. Where is Pax?
It could be that Angelina’s comments on Pax got cut from the interview, or it could be that six kids are just too many to remember. Whatever the case, son number two goes unmentioned.
10. There may be a Mr. & Mrs. Smith sequel
Ange says she’s open to it if the script were good enough. So far, the attempts have been subpar, but there’s always hope. Either way, the Oscar winner is eager to appear onscreen with her spouse: “I’d love to. We’ve talked about it. We’d have to figure out who would watch the kids.”
I guess Jen Aniston is out of the question...HA!
