Paris Hilton : Flying High After Court Case

Paris is telling close friends she's  "over being a party girl," and wants to "trade in the club scence for a life at  "home"...seriously.

Paris appeared in a Las Vegas courtroom to  cop a plea in her drug possession case , is telling friends  "I'm taking this whole ordeal as a wake-up call."

Paris has also said that she's using this experience to "finally grow up and become a responsible adult," and wants to spend the time volunteering at animal  shelters and focusing on her business empire.

After pleading guilty to two misdemeanor charges in her cocaine possession case ...Paris Hilton boarded a  private Jet for Japan .

As part of her sentance , Paris must pay  $2000 in fines , complete 200 hours of community service , enter an intensive substance abuse program and will remain on probation for one year.

My spin : Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan must share the same  "PR" people , you would think they wouldn't  say the same crap in one weekend ...Oh please , who is Paris kidding....holy shit.

Paris Hilton : Men That Date Paris , Do They Seal Their Demise ?

        Dating Paris Hilton may be deadly at least in the figurative sense . Her steady stream of BFs are usually reduced to rubble  after the relationship ends , suffering everything from ruined reputations to lost jobs. The party princess is no King Midas, but rather Medusa, because everything - or rather, everyone - Paris touches seem to turn to stone.
     The latest to fall victim to the curse of the heiress is her current beau , nightclub owner Cy Waits - who recently was fired from his gig at the Wynn Las Vegas after he  and Paris were pulled over for suspected DUI. The 29-year-old Hilton was charged with cocaine possession and related offenses and could go back to Jail.
     Since then, Hilton has been banned from the Wynn and Encore resorts on the strip. Meanwhile , the hotel and casino  says Waits "separated from the company  and is free to pursue other interests." The police report says he allegedly failed a field sobriety test when he and Hilton were stopped August 27. It's a shame , really.  Before he travelled down the dark road to Paris this summer , Waits, 34, was apparently  doing  quite well for himself . The young businessman had recently been promoted to co-chief of nightlife  operations at Wynn and Encore . He and his twin brother  were managing partners of Tryst Night club inside the Wynn , as well as the Encore's XS Nightclub and Drai's. They'd both been named among "America's Most Eligible Bachelors"by Extra.'
     Waits isn't the only one to see his life go up in flames after getting involved with the notorious socialite . Let's harken back to the days of Nick Carter...The former  Backstreet Boy seemed to be enjoying a successful pop music career until his 7-month-long brush with Hilton in 2004 . But  once the pair split , the claws came out . Just a little at first , with a "sad" Carter confessing  that he really loved that girl," but he had to get away because she was toxic. Their relationship , he said , was built on "distrust" (yes. that really is a word). "She didn't trust me , I didn't trust her," the  Boy band star said. He also called her "immature" and said she "thrives off hurting other people."
     That wasn't the last we heard  from Carter . Hilton's camp later insinuated that he'd hit her - paparazzi photos appeared of a bruised Paris , and she danced around whether her ex was to blame - and he confessed to having cheated on the party girl with her rival Ashlee Simpson to get revenge. "I was so burnt over the whole Paris  sh*t  with all this swinging and switching ," he told PageSis. "Whatever happened to morals and values ?"
     Don't forget about Rick Salomon , Hilton's co-star in her infamous sex tape. The grainy video , shot in 2001 before he married actress Shannen Doherty (and divoriced her ) or Pamela Anderson (and divoriced her ) , was seen by just about the entire universe when it was leaked onto the Internet in 2003.  Hilton was said to be "humiliated." And boy did Salomon pay.  "Hilton, her family and at least one of her publicists have ... embanked on a cold , calculated and malicious camppaign to portray Salomon as a rapist who took advantage of a sweet and innocent girl who  had no idea what happen to her," the court papers said. "defentants then cleverly hinted to the press that there might be an issue as to whether Hilton was underage.
     Then there was the Greek shipping heir  # 2 , Stavros Niarchos ( not to be confused  with Greek shipping heir  # 1 Paris Latsis ) It was Niarchos who reportedly tossed Paris out that time, after Kelly Osgourne's wild 21st birthday party at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel with Hilton and her peeps. The bash ended with a totally trashed room and a bill for $100,000 in damages.  "Stavros told Paris that things are out of control and he's through with the drama," a friend of his dished to the Star. "He said to her , 'I need time to reflect . I should have been home today studying . Instead, I am here paying $100,000 worth of bills.
     Granted , a lot of Paris' boys weren't exactly squeaky clean and free of shadiness before they hooked up with the  hard-partying star. Salomon , the owner of an online gambling site  with two daughters from his first marriage , seemed sleazy from the start with ties to the porn industry and a rep for seducing celebrities to get to the top.
      Careful out there guys : As for the men Medusa (Paris Hilton) hasn't yet gazed upon who still salivate over Hilton's Barbie doll looks, high-wattage  fame and dazzling fortune , a little word of caution. Think twice before acting on  your fantasies . That is , unless you yearn for a slow , painful and very public demise....

Paris Hilton : Are Legal Woes All Part of Her Plan ???

    Paris Hilton's recent headlines reek of desperation. In the wake of the deluge of  Lohan press for her substances abuse and substance abuse and subsequent incarcation one can't help but wonder whether  Paris  elementary logic led her to believe a coke bust would be the only way to regain the spotlight.
    People are paying attention to Paris now for the first time in over a year. Since this woman is typically a well-oiled publicity machine it's hard to believe that any  of this is an accident .
    But Hilton's former spinmeister , now Naughty But Nice Rob Stuter says that while he believes Paris is desperate for attention , she is too lazy to plot something like this as a stunt.
    "Knowing Paris  I'm sure she doesn't mind that we are all talking about her and not Kim Kardashian for a change  but her recent arrest  was in no way a press stunt," Shuter says.
    " Paris wouldn't give up a night clubbing for the cove of Time magazine . Paris is happy to be part of press stunts after she wakes up (so nothing before noon)  but to ask her to work  on getting herself back in the press when she would rather be playing is something she wouldn't even consider."
    Paris never shied from negative publicity  in the past , starting with her sex tape that catapulted her to fame.
    "The best known example of how Paris used victimization to her advantage stems back to  the sex tape(s) that made her famous in the first place. No sooner did the  original, unflattering back and white  tape hit the market - she quickly went back into the bedroom  with her original victimizer Rick Solomon, dolled herself up to look sexy, adjusted the lighting and color to a more flattering hue, and gave a performance that ultimately  tranformed her into the savvy, sexy business partner of 'One Night In Paris' - one of the most profitable sex tapes of all times,"  says Mark Ebner , author of "Six Degrees of Paris Hilton."
    "Like the original sex tape , getting caught with marijuana abroad  and her recent bust for cocaine possession in Vegas didn't start as ploys for attention as much as they were characteristic examples  of abject stupidity. But, what with her common criminal claim that the drugs in her possession weren't hers, she once again attempts to futher her  victim status in the public eye, and - when the Clark County court system ultimately gives her a slap-on-wrist probation treatment , she'll bubble up on twitter - linking to photos of herself hugging lion cubs  and patting impoverished  African  children  on the head. Except this time , the Vegas count system may  wise up to her shenanigans.
    So whether she planned her arrest or not (she certainly was camera ready for that mug shot !) Paris will more likely than not spin this negative press to her advantage . And if she ends up serving the  maximum sentence for felony possession of cocaine we can expect her to sell her story to the highest bidder as well as produce a new fragrance , possible called "Jailbait."
    Paris: Listen up girl , Vegas is a gambling town and they take odds on which celebrity pays the most money and does the most time. I mean , they jailed Oj, didn't they ?  Nuff said.

Paris Hilton Arrested in Vegas...Cocaine Charge

 Paris Hilton was arrested late Friday after a police motorcycle officer smelled marijuana smoke wafting from a black Cadillac Escalade driven by her boyfriend on the Las Vegas Strip, then found cocaine in her purse, authorities said.
A crowd quickly gathered when Hilton and Las Vegas nightclub mogul Cy Waits were stopped about 11:30 p.m. Friday in the vehicle near the Wynn Las Vegas resort on Las Vegas Boulevard. The 29-year-old celebrity socialite asked to go into the hotel for privacy because of the number people gathering, said Officer Marcus Martin. Police later found a substance in Hilton's purse that tests showed to be cocaine.  He said it was "a small amount" of the drug, a package of the size usually associated with personal use.

Hilton was arrested on suspicion of felony cocaine possession. Waits, 34, was arrested on misdemeanour suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Both were booked into the Clark County jail, where Martin said Hilton was released without bail about 2:45 a.m. Saturday. Hilton received no special treatment during her brief time at the jail, and release without bail is common in such cases.

Less than an hour later, Hilton's Twitter account was updated with a posting that said the actress was in bed watching the television show "Family Guy," and then that she was going to sleep. It was unclear if the tweets came from her, were posted by time-release or were sent by someone else.
If convicted of the low-grade felony, Hilton would get probation. Any violation of probation would be punishable by one to four years in Nevada state prison.
Clark County District Attorney David Roger declined comment Saturday about the case. Hilton's attorney, David Chesnoff, told The Associated Press on Saturday morning that he was still gathering facts about the arrest. Waits' lawyer, Richard Schonfeld, said Waits posted $2,000 bail and was expected to be released Saturday.
Waits and his twin brother, Jesse, are managing partners of the Tryst Nightclub inside Wynn Las Vegas, Drai's after hours club at Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon, and XS The Nightclub at Wynn's Encore resort.

Sorry Paris, but you're a spoiled little rich bitch. I understand you're not the brightest  light on the Christmas tree but surely you could find something more useful to do.
