Standoff Continues At Michael Jackson's House

Alejandra Jackson  ... the squatter who has been living at Katherine Jackson's family compound against Katherine's wishes  just bought more time in the house  ... thanks to a judge's ruling .

Alejandra  ... the baby mama of both Randy and Jermaine Jackson has been living at the Encino compound for nearly 20 years   . The Estate wants her out and has offered her a condo in move-in condition , but Alejandra has not budged .

Estate lawyer Howard Weitzman said the snag in the move was that Alejandra refused to sign a confidentiality agreement and he claims she's in the process  of hocking a tell-all-book . Alejandra refused to sign the agreement and was also demanding money in addition to the condo .

The judge just ruled that Alejandra could stay in the house for another month until there's a full trial on whether she could be evicted .

Trial date  : April 18

Michael Jackson Manslaughter Trial Postponed Thanks to Slowpoke Lawyers

Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyers have a whole extra month to sweat the small stuff.

A judge reluctantly postponed opening statements in the  Michael Jackson   manslaughter trial from Arpil  5 to May 9 , citing the ongoing exchange of information between the prosecution and Murray's defense team.

"I did not wan t to burn the propective jurors," L.A. Superior Court judge   Michael E. Pastor said in court today  , noting that several hundred people are still scheduled to come in on March 24 to fill out questionnaires about the Murray case  .

But because the attorneys are still passing propective witness lists and other evidence back and forth , the judge said he was forced to delay the  trial.

Murray , who's accused of injecting Jackson with a lethal dose of propofol  and not properly monitoring  his vitals afterward  , has pleaded not guilty  to involuntary manslaughter  . When Judge Pasto ordered the case to trial after preliminary proceeding  , he also ordered that Murray's California medical license be suspended immediately .

"We're going to have a lot of work to do between now and then," the judge said today.

Spoiler alert guys : The prospective jurors have heard of Michael Jackson  and read about  this case .... and the state is broke .

MJ"S Kids Give Away $10,000 To Honor Dad

Michael Jackson's  children definitely have the bug  ...the one that make you give away large sums of money ...because they just helped  make a $10,000 donation to one of MJ's favorite charities  .

Earlier this week , Prince ,paris and blanket presented a ckeck for $10K to the L.A. Housing Corporation ...a group that provides shelter for homeless families  . Sources say Michael used to take his kids to volunteer with the group .

Sources said the massive chunk  o'change  came from grandma Katherin e Jackson's memorabilla  biz .

MJ heirs made the donation on behalf of his  Heal the World Foundation . All three of them joined the group's  Youth Board of Advisors last year.

Tell-All Book At The Root Of The Jackson Family War "WTF"

 

Katherine  Jackson's war  with Jermaine/Randy's baby mama Alejandra  Jackson is all about a tell-all Alejandra is working on ... sources  directly connected with the family dispute rett TMZ.

TMZ broke the story ...the  Michael Jackson  Estate   has  filed  legal papers  trying  to evict Alejandra and her kids ,    Jaafar ,Jermajesty ,Donte ,Randy,Jr.and Geneieve  from the family home in Encino, which was owned  by MJ and now the Estate (the Estate is being remodel, it's a wait and see if Alejandra moves back in).

Now TMZ knows what has lead to this legal showdown  :

Katherine  and her lawyers asked Alejandra and her kids to leave months ago, following the stun gun incident with Jaafar . Alejandra lawyered up , and put the Estate put an offer on the table ... the Estate would give her a  condo, but in return she'd have to sign a confidentiality   agreement and promise , among other things   , not to write a tell-all book.

It's learned Alejandra refused to sign a confidentiality agreement and is in "active negotiations"for a tell all.

And there's more . Alejandra was demanding money from the   MJ Estate.

When Alejandra was in Japan last month with her kids , everyone assumed dhe was going away for goodand Katherine temporarily  moved out to remodel the house .

But Alejandra came back, moved back in and refused to leave , stalling the remodeling .

Sources say  Katherine's lawyers called the cops last week  to forcibly evict Alejandra , but the police said they couldn't do anything without an eviction  order ... which is why the Estate is going to court.

Jermaine Jackson : Still Aboard

Jamaine Jackson ... who hasn't been spotted stateside since that  whole  Africa/passspot/child support   mess ...now popped up in Cannes last night to  attend   the NRJ  Music Awards .

For  a guy who feels he should  only pay  $125  a month in child support , he sure travels a  lot.

Just wondering :Ever wondered why MJ wanted nothing to do with his family  ? All they ever expected was to sponge off him.

Yes  there was once a Jackson5 and soon after MJ was in the forefront of the band and that's  why people came to see the Jacksons' . Flash forward ; MJ goes his own way  and did fantastic  things and the brothers did nothing .

With the money Katherine gets ...Jermaine will get money. How else did Jermaine get to Africa   ?

But  the question  still remains , who is  wearing the most make-up ??? 

People vs. Dr. Conrad Murray

Faheem Muhammad , one of Michael Jackson's bodyguards , just testified he was in Michael's room after Murry noticed MJ stopped breathing . Faheem told the procuter, Murray was on his knees doing compressions on MJ in a panicked state , when he turned to Faheem  and another bodyguard and asked , "Does another in the room know CPR?"

Faheem recalled how Prince and Paris were near the room and Paris was on her knees crying . The  nanny took them away.

Fahamm also said after Michael was prounced dead at UCLA , Dr Murray told him he was hungry and wanted to leave . Faheem said he told Murray to eat at the hosiptal cafeteria , but Murray left .

On  cross-examination , Ed Chernoff got Faheem to admit Murray spoke with MJ's family and police before he left.

Dr. Conrad Murray stopped to have breakfast in downtown Los Angeles before heading to court today for the first day of his preliminary hearing in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case .

They should throw the book at   Dr. Conrad  Murray ...  for wearing that tie .

MJ's Family : Michael Predicted He'd Be Murdered

Michael Jackson's family claims the singer predicted his own death shortly before he died ... telling TMZ , the King of Pop was paranoid he'd be murdered  ... for his incredibly valuable Sony catalogs .

The statement is in response to the story TMZ first broke in April  ...that  Dr. Murray defense will argue  MJ accidentally killed himself by injecting a lethal dose of Propofol.

The rep adds , "what is incredibly ironic is that Michael told his mother shortly before he died that he thought someone was going to kill him for his catalog."

The family is also concerned that video surveillance of Michael's last living moments  ... crucial evidence in Murray's trial ... is still missing .

Jermaine Jackson : Hit By A Smooth Criminal

Jermaine Jackson filed a police report  claiming someone stole more than $150,000 in jewelry , furs  and clothes ... just a week after he went to court claiming he couldn't afford to pay child support .

Law enforcement sources says  Jackson  and his wife Halina Rashid , claims in the report  ... filed with the LA County Sheriff's Department  ...someone took  a Louis  Vuitton bag containing the treasure trove from their Calabasas home back in September .

The home which Jermaine rents ... is in a gated community  where Katherine Jackson is temporarity  living in while her Encino home under goes extensive renovation .

Jermaine  claimed the bag contained  some ultra expensive watches , among other pricey items . Law enforcement  sources say the case is under investigation ...but so far no suspects .

A week after Jackson filed the police report , he filed documents in his child support case ....claiming he couldn't afford the $3,000 a month for his kids  , Jaafar and Jermajesty . He would like the payments reduced to $ 215  dollars a month .

Just a thought :  It doesn't take a mathematician  to figure this one out ... Jermaine claims he makes only $892.75 a month . Jermaine Jackson  is a deadbeat dad of the worst kind .

When Oprah Winfery visited the Jackson family's  compound in Encino , California, she made sure there were just enough chairs  at the table for the people she  was interested in talking to.

Sony To Katherine Jackson : You Are Wrong About MJ

Sony Music isn't buying the claim of Katherine Jackson and two of Michael Jackson's  kids  ...that some  of the tracks  on a soon-to-be-released Michael  Jackson  album is fake ...because one of the tracks in question is about to be released on the  michaeljackson.com  on Monday.

The song ...'Breaking News'  was recorded in 2007 at the New Jersey home of Eddie Cascio . Jackson and his kids lived in the house for four (4) months  while Michael was recording . We're told Prince , Paris and Katherine  now believe the Cascio tracks are fake ...not Michael voice.

But Sony has done a bunch of voice authentications and convinced  it's the real deal. So a teaser will be released tomorrow , and the full song will be on the  'mj website'  for one week beginng Monday Nov.8.

We're are told three (3) tracks recorded at the Cascio house will be included on the full album, which will be released December 14, 2010.

Oprah Winfrey's personal space was violated during her visit to the Jackson's house last week, Tmz learned the culprit  was none other than Joe Jackson , himself.

Sources close to the Big O tell TMZ  Joe was all over the talk show  queen when she came over to conduct a sitdown interview with the family at their family Encino home.

A  source said Joe was tailing  Oprah all over the house --  almost like a shadow --  so Oprah's assistant steped in and asked the guy to back off.

Joe obliged , the source said -- and kept a polite distance for the rest of the visit .. Personal space --- it's not a joke.

Randy Jackson is outraged that  his parents allowed Oprah Winfrey in tne  family home  for an interview  because he  thinks Oprah tried to put his dead brother in jail.

Randy tweeted last night  that he was beside himself   that  Joe and Katherine Jackson  would invite  a woman into the home who tried  to poison the jury in the Michael Jackson molestion trial.

Randy  notes -- Oprah did a show on pedophelia during jury deliberations and , as he puts it , "That was no coincidence ."

Randy goes  on  ---- "she is the last person on earth he (Michael) would want around his children ."

Michael Jackson : Prince & Paris Go To A Traditional School

  Michael Jackson two oldest children' - Prince Michael, 13.  and Paris, 12, began their studies at a tradititional school last Wednesday - their first experience  outside  of home-schooling . But  before they could hit the books like  "normal" kids , Prince and   Paris  had to first win over  their skeptical grandmother , Katherine.

A family member close to the situation  tells PopEater that Paris  and Prince's  legal Guardian protested the idea of sending the sheltered kids to school  , feeling their father  would have disapproved . However, one of Jermaine Jackson's sons stepped in and encouraged Katherine  to allow Prince  and Paris to move away from home-schooling.

The King of Pop's eldest children are attending The Buckley School in San Fernando Valley and a parent at the school tells PopEater that things are anything but "normal" when the famous kids are there.

Both have full-time bodyguards , who partol the school's parking lot and accompany the kids  from class to class , to their lockers and even watch over them during lunch.

This kind of attention would seem to stifle their ability to fit in and make friends - two things that are important to young Prince , who was seeking a "social experience "  by enrolling at the prestigious school. Sources  say the Jackson's are the only students at the exclusive school with a full-time security detail.

"The bodyguard situation  really is a bit intimidating to other kids at the school, tell's Popeater. And that makes them hesitant to approach Prince and Paris."

TMZ was first to report that the kids were attending school.

Some in the Jackson family are also upset with this situation because they firmly believe sending the kids to school  is not something Michael would have wanted . Michael famously protected his children from the public , and they are vulnerable and exposed to the outside world.  "This is a huge change for both of them," a family source tell PopEater.

The entire family agreed Jackson's youngest child, Blanket , who  at  eight-years-old is reportedly the shyest of the three , is not ready and will stay at home with private tutors.
My spin : Well , this is a step in the right direction for Prince and Paris...Their father is dead and these kids need to be perpared for the real world...protection for your kids means  preparing  them  for the things that life throw at them. Prince and Paris will be  very wealthy young people in time and they both need to be able to separate  the good from the bad...this is the real world ...not make believe.

Friendless or not, Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8, have come out from under wraps in every way since their father's passing. They made their uncloaked public debut at the tear-jerking conclusion of Michael's Staples Center memorial service, and went on to attend the Grammys this year. In a development that might alarm their protective dad, they've even posted videos of themselves on YouTube--including Blanket's recreation of a scene from Monsters Inc. The kids are even said to have gone out door-to-door to proselytize for the Jehovah's Witness faith that Katherine is raising them in, just as their father did before he left the sect.


JOE JACKSON
The patriarch of the family continues to be one of American pundits' favorite punching bags, which some would find poetic justice. Although Joe wasn't mentioned in his son's will, he seems determined to inherit some of the public attention. His latest shocking statement seemed to lay some of the blame for Michael's death on Katherine: He said he had asked his wife to visit their son "to keep him cheered up," but she declined for fear of violating Michael's privacy. "I said this would have never happened if you had went and been with him," Joe said he told Katherine. But the senior Jackson has been feeling the heat ever since he went on the red carpet at the 2009 BET Awards and talked about a new record label he was starting...three days after Michael's death. In recent legal news, Joe Jackson's lawyer has filed complaints with the California Medical Board against AEG--creating a rare instance where many fans may side with the big corporation against the little guy.


KATHERINE JACKSON
In testimony to Michael's closeness with his mother, she was the only family member other than his children to immediately benefit from his will, and has become the guardian of his kids. But even Michael's beloved mum has been involved in some controversies. Katherine has aligned herself with Howard Mann, a businessman who TMZ says "promotes online nude gambling." Together, Mann has said, they plan to produce a Jackson biopic and sell 273 unreleased tracks that were discovered when Mann bought a storage unit owned by the Jackson family. They've already collaborated on a coffee-table book, Never Can Say Goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archives, which is being sold online. Child protective services came to the family manse in Encino after it was reported that Jaafar Jackson--one of three children of Jermaine's who also live at the house--had brandished a stun-gun near one or more of Michael's children. In this week's controversy, Katherine is scheduled to travel to hometown Gary, Indiana, for an event commemorating the anniversary of Michael's death, even though Randy Jackson is publicly rallying for the entire family to gather at Michael's tomb in Glendale, California


DR. CONRAD MURRAY
The doctor who injected Jackson with Propofol and performed unsuccessful CPR on the singer has faced legal trouble in three states. In California, he's awaiting trail for involuntary manslaughter. Attempts to take away his license to practice medicine in California in the meantime have been unsuccessful, though Murray has said it's irrelevant because he only practices in Texas now. In Nevada, his license may be in trouble due to unpaid child support; in Texas, he has only lost the power to administer sedatives. On a recent US Airways flight, he administered emergency aid to an unconscious woman. Joe Jackson continues to pursue action against Murray, most recently claiming that the doctor was seen drinking at a strip club before Michael's death, although associates claim the doc is a non-drinker. "I know what trouble is," Murray told his Houston church congregation last fall. "I, with my compassion, was only trying to help my fellow man. But it appears I was at the wrong place at the wrong time." Murray was new enough to Jackson's employ at the time of the death that he never did get paid for any of his services.
