Michael Lohan : I Definitely Blame Myself

Just before Lindsay Lohan was released from jail,  Michael Lohan sat down  with the new HDNet  'Naughty But Nice with  Rob'  talk show. In their revealing chat, Michael admits for the first time that he is responsible for his daughter's current situation.
"I definitely blame myself and take full  responsbility for where my daughter is,"  he told Rob.
It was a different Michael, a father whose pain clearly wasn't put on by the camera. Talking about little Lindsay growing up in Long Island , going to auditions  for TV jobs and finially hitting the big time in  "The arents Trap," Michael had had tears in his eyes wondering how everything went so wrong so fast.
He clearly blames himself and his ugly divorce from Dina Lohan , but he didn't hesitate to offer harsh words for his ex , who he points out has never admitted any responsibility.
"If she [Dina ] doesn't get on board with me and mend fences , she will be the one person who will continue to destroy Lindsay," he told Rob. "She has to stop thinking about making money off Lindsay and she has to stop listening to her brothers and mother ; The three people who are keeping us apart."
Michael recounted how he and his ex  were on friendly terms as recently as July 4 , but that after Lindsay was sentenced two days later , she began shunning him again.
Michael insists Dina has ignored professional advice on how to reign in their troubled daughter.
"Why is it that Lindsay's lawyers , therapists  and doctors have asked Dina to have family counseling  sessions , but she won't ?" Michael wondered , "If your kids matter that much , you make sacrifices and forsake oneself for your kids. This is all in Dina's hands. What she does will determined the outcome."
A friend said : 'Lindsay is still so vulnerable  after only 13 days away from her crazy life.'
My spin : This is the best chance Lindsay has ever had t save her life, the longer Lindsay stays from bad influences  and those around her who make bad decisions on her behalf...the better and that includes Dina.....but hey, that's just me.

Lindsay Lohan : Mom Says Lilo Is being Treated Like A Common Criminal

While reports have claimed cushy conditions for Lindsay Lohan in jail, her mother , Dina Lohan, says it ain't so - and that Lilo doesn't even have a  pillow.

"She doesen't have  cell phone privileges, that's absurd. She doesn't have a pillow to sleep on." Dina told RadarOnline yesterday. "I talk to her through glass. "There's a phone and we put her on speaker, but I can't even hug my daughter. She's treated like a common criminal."

That said, Dina did admit that the guards  and inmates have been  "pretty cool" to Lindsay.

"We're all so happy this is finally coming to a close,"  Dina told Radar. "When this happened, we were hysterical messes. But I'm so proud of Lindsay, she's been so strong and positive, even under what I consider to be extremely harsh punishment." Stay tuned...the saga continues.

My spin :  Dina, for your information, Lilo is a criminal. Jail is not the Plaza. Maybe if you were more of a mother , instead of a friend, Lilo might not be where she is now....and Dina in my opinion, you should be treated like a criminal also. After alcohol ...Lindsay's  other two problems are her  "dysfunctional and enabling parents....nuff said.

Lindsay Lohan : Life Behind Bars

Lindsay Lohan's  fellow famous inmate - "Pretty Wild" star Alexis Neiers - walked out of the Lynwood jail late last week  a free woman - and brought with her the scoop from inside.
According to jail  offcials, Neiers - who was serving a six -month sentence for her part in the "Burglar Bunch's" heist at Orlando Bloom's house - was released after spending less than a month behind bars.
During an inview with  E ! News, Neiers said Lohan "was crying." She was lying  in there  and just trying to calm down."
"She had her head down when she first walked by and she was in  orange, just like the rest of us. I mean, she got to keep her extensions in and everything, which most people don't and the girls were like, ah... they had to take their's out  and cut it all out and you know stuff like that."
Alexis tells TMZ she is very  "humbled," "blessed"  and very "grateful for my family right now." She says her plans are "to shower, get in my bed and relax with my family. I'm very excited for a good meal."
Lindsay, on the other hand, just wants a drink of water, but the only thing that's available  - as one source puts it - is "water from that nasty sink in her cell." Lindsey just can't stomach it. One jailer went as far to tell her, "Just drink the milk from the day before."
TMZ has also learned Lindsay Lohan started  to get some ink done before she got locked up - but she didn't have the time to finish the design.
At one glance, it  appears to be a bruise on Lilo's upper  left arm - but the mark is actually the tattooed outline of a little girl with her eyes closed.
It's said Lohan first went under the needle at the Shamrock Social Club tattoo parlor in Hollywood, just a few days ago - and ironically  choose the image because "she liked the innocence of "the girl."
My spin : Where is Lilo's family ? Can't they see Lindsay is begging for help ?  I guess this is another of  the young people in Hollywood that's lost between the cracks.  I hope Lindsay's parents wake up and see her need before it's to late... Shapiro was there to help Lindsay , but he couldn't do it along, he needed the help of  Lilo's parents.  Hang tough  Lilo and take this time to evaluate your life and where you are headed.

Lindsay Lohan : 90-Day Jail Stint Anything But Fashionable "OUCH"

In less than two weeks, actress Lindsay Lohan will trade her designer tops and chic legging  for a short-sleeved prison jumpsuit as she begins a 90-day stint  at the Century Regional Detention Facility in California. "[Lohan's] stay there will  be unpleasent enough that she won't forget it," says Steve Cron, a criminal defense attorney in Santa Monica California. "The point is to say , "You better take this seriously, and if you don't , you are going to going back and forth to jail."
According to Cron, Lindsey's new accommadations will be vastly different from her Hollywood apartment. She'll be staying in a 12-by-8 foot room with a bunk, table, sink, toliet and a small window.
"Because of her celebrity status, she will have her own cell," Corn said. "That's not to say she's being treated better than anybody  - it's for her own safety. All celebrities can be victimized in jail by people who want  street cred for beating up someone who is famous. Lohan may have her own cell, but she won't  have much by way of everyday amenities . "There are no television inside the cells, and inmates can't have make-up,"Cron said.Not that it's a facility in which your looks are of importance anyway. In fact, you may want to look a little less attractive  when you are in jail."
Her lawyer can have access to her seven days a week, but others can only visit her once a week, and even then, the interaction will be limited: "She'll be behind glass  talking through a phone so [guards] don't have to worry about security or someone giving her something."
Lohan will be permitted to go outside her cell one hour a day to exercise and be outdoors, weather permitting.
While Lohan's life behind bars might not be glamorous, she can at least rest easy knowing she probably won't have to serve the entire 90-days, Cron noted. "The rule is that they can't keep you for more than two-thirds of the time, as long as you get credit for good behavior," he said.
Instead of taking a vacation after she's released , Lohan will go straight to rehab where she'll spend 90 days at an in-patient addiction treatment center.
"This is a girl who shows signs of an addictive personality."Brenner said."She hasn't taken any of this seriously, and if she don't do that,[treatment's] not going to work. The whole thing is about changing your actions, your behavior, your friends and your out-look.
My spin : When you are medicating your life with drugs, your outlook becomes distorted. Maybe after  jail Lindsey's attitude will change. If it doesen't. Lindsey Lohan is in trouble...but we hope the best for her  and now it's up to Lindsey to go down the right path.

Lindsay Goes to Jail..Probation Violation

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - A judge sentenced Lindsay Lohan to 90 days in jail Tuesday after ruling she violated probation in a 2007 drug case by failing to attend court-ordered alcohol education classes.
Lohan burst into tears after the sentencing by Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel.Lohan was not required to immediately surrender but will have to turn herself in on July 20. She will also be required to enter an inpatient rehab program after her release from jail.
The ruling came during a hearing set for the "Mean Girls" star after she missed a court date in May. She has been required to wear an ankle alcohol monitor since then.The monitor issued an alert after Lohan attended the MTV Movie Awards and after-parties.
Prosecutors had hoped to introduce reports from the monitor to show the actress also had violated a court order against drinking imposed as part of her probation. Revel said during the ongoing hearing the device showed Lohan's blood-alcohol content was 0.03.However, Revel said she would not consider whether the actress actually consumed alcohol last month after attending the MTV Movie Awards. Lohan has denied drinking that night.
The judge said she would honour what she told lawyers for both sides in a closed meeting last month and not allow the negative report to be used at the hearing.Revel said she would only consider whether the actress failed to complete the required number of alcohol education courses on time.
Lohan's attorney Shawn Chapman Holley said she hadn't prepared to defend against the alcohol monitor report because the judge had said it would only affect bail for the actress. Revel doubled Lohan's bail to $200,000 after learning of the alert last month.
Lohan arrived about 10 minutes early for the hearing at the Beverly Hills courthouse. Lohan's father Michael and younger sister also attended.
Lohan spent 84 minutes in jail in 2007 after she pleaded guilty to two misdemeanour counts of being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 per cent and one count of reckless driving.
The plea came after a pair of high-profile arrests earlier that year. Lohan was sentenced to three years of probation but had to ask for a yearlong extension in October after she failed to complete her alcohol-education courses on time.
Reality check Lindsay; welcome to the real world,  where you get punished for breaking the law. The three months in jail may be the best thing that ever happened to you. Time to grow up honey, before it's too late for you. And honey, you are right on the edge.
