Chaz Bono is upset after the National Enquirer published the death of the former 'Dancing With The Stars' contestant . The head line read :"Chaz Bono ...Only 4 Years To Live ."
The article cites Dr. Patrick Wanis , who claims Bono's weight combined with the stress of his recent appearance on 'DWTS' and various medication associated with his gender reassingment will "Increase Chaz's risk of an early death ." The Enquirer claims that Wanis predict's Bono will likely die by 2015.
Needles to say , Bono was not happy , and according to TMZ , Bono's firing back .
Bono's legal team sent a letter to the Enquirer , demanding that the tabloid magazine print a retraction and issure a public apology . If the Enquirer fails to print a restraction , Bono's team is ready to take legal action.
In a letter obtained by TMZ, Bono's legal team calls the story "blatantly false and defamatory ," adding that , "The salacious and inflammatory headline and article were crafted for the malicious purpose of discrimination against our clients gender and sexual orientation."
Sources reports that Bono's lawyer will sue the tabloid if a retraction and public apology is not made.
Sounds very likely that Chaz has shortened his own life but no one has the right to assume or to print that in a tabloid. Sue the pants off them Chaz.
