Gossipcop is told exclusively that President Obama invited Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony to watv te Super Bowl with him at the White House.
A source close to the stars reveals that the invitation was extended , and now Lopez and Anthon y was tryin g to arrange a trip to Washington to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Green Bay Packers with the Commander-in-Chief.
Lopez and Anthony share a close relationship with Obama , who met the couple in the Oval office on September 16 , 2009 while their twins Emme and Max ran wild around the White House . Later that evening , Obama was on hand at the Congressional Hispanic Cancus Institute's Annual Awards gala , where he sang "Happy Birthday" to honoree Anthony , who previously performed ay tthe president's inaurgural ball.
Just a thought : Wonder what Sarah Palin and the Tea Party will make of this ...a whole lot of nothing ...but we know Palin if it's about Obama , she has nothing to say.
