Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Lindsay checked in late Thursday night ... barely dodging a looming arrest warrant.
We broke the story ... Lindsay has re-hired Shawn Holley, who then negotiated with Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White to make the deal that Betty Ford was an acceptable rehab joint.
It's ironic Lindsay is at Betty Ford -- you'll recall back in 2010 Lindsay got into an epic fight during her rehab stay with a staffer. The police were called and civil lawsuits were filed. It's amazing Betty Ford took her back.
We're told prosecutors will back off their promise to seek an arrest warrant today ... although they still have to get the judge to sign off on Betty Ford, but it looks like that will just be a formality.
Witchy says can Lindsay make it for 90 days ? Let's be serious .Totally ridiculous that she is allowed to just do what fits HER bill. If a normal person gets convicted of something, they don't get to choose what prison they go to. Weak.
Where is she getting the money to pay for Shawn Holley and Betty Ford? She must really be a high money escort like the rumors say because no one is hiring her. Charlie Sheen took pity on her and she stole the clothes and jewelry. Something is not right in that families DNA.
She is a drug and alcohol addicted joke....but the real joke here is California law enforcement and the judicial system. I want o live in a land where I can do anything and not worry about facing the consequences...I love the judges in CA.....they are so nice and they don't want to upset anyone...especially the criminals. I wonder if they ever get embarrassed from being ignored so publicly.
