Hillary Clinton (Reuters) - Americans named President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as the World's most admired living man and woman in 2013 , according to a Gallup poll released on Monday .
Obama topped the annual list for the sixth consecutive year , a typical ranking for a sitting U.S. president , the polling organization said .
But the percentage of those surveyed who choose him as the most admired man fell to 16 percent this year , down from 30 percent in 2012 .
The president's job approval rating has dropped during a year marked by a botched healthcare rollout and stalled legislative initiatives at the start of his second term .
Clinton earned the top spot among women for the 12th consecutive year and 18th time overall , more than any other woman in the poll's history .
Fifteen percent of Americans surveyed gave the former first lady and U.S. senator the highest ranking , down from 21 percent who named her as the most admired woman last year , the poll showed .
Gallup said its data came from a poll of 1,031 adults between December 5 and 8 , and had a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points .
Other men named to the list included former U.S. presidents George W. Bush , Bill Clinton and Jimmy carter ; Pope Francis and the Reverend Billy Graham ; actor and director Clint Eastwood ; Microsoft Crop co-founder and Philanthropist Bill Gates ; U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and former Republican presidential candidates Mitt Romney and Ron Paul .
The women who finished behind Hillary Clinton included talk show host Oprah Winfrey , first lady Michelle Obama , former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin , former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and actress Angelina Jolie .
Also on the list were Malala Yousafzai , the Pakistani teenager shot in the head by the Taliban for demanding education for girls ; German Chancellor Angela Merkel , and Britain's Queen Elizabeth and Duchess of Cambridge , Kate Middleton .

Cracker Barrel took such a ridiculous position by boycotting Duck Commander products with Phil Robertson's photos on it ...They had to give their employees a script to deal with pissed-off customers .
TMZ obtained a copy of a script Cracker Barrel created so its employees could justify the boycott . And this is funny ... the script is actually a modified of how employees generally deal with unhappy shoppers . Seems to be a problem at Cracker Barrel .
The script was 86'd 24 hours after it was written ... when Cracker Barrel reversed its position because it realized it stood to loose customers and therefore lots of loot .
Apparently the company needs a new script , because angry customers are still calling about its position on Phil .
How's this for a script .
--- Sorry --- we really f***ed this one up . But hey , we saw which way the wind was blowing so now we support Phil . And try our eggs . They're terrific ! HeHe
Hong Kong (AP)-- President Barack Obama's half-brother is publishing an autobiography that details the domestic abuse thet served as the theme for his earlier semi-autobiographical novel , which featured an abusive parent patterned on their late father .
Mark Obama Ndesandjo also recounts his sporadic but intense encounters with his brother over the years "Cultures: My Odyssey of Self-Discovery." The self published book , to be released in February , also tries to set the record straight on some points in the president's bestselling 1995 memoir, "Dreams From My Father." In that book , Obama seeks to learn more about their father , a mostly absent figure , after learning of his death in a car crash in 1982 at the age of 46 .
Ndesandjo's book comes four years layer after his novel ,"Nairobi to Shenzhen: A Novel of Love in the East." As in his first book , Ndesandjo wanted to raise awareness of domestic abuse by using his family's story , although he said in an interview with The Associated Press on Tuesday that the president's relatives have not universally welcomed his airing of private matters to the public . Ndesandjo spoke ahead of a news conference to launch the book in Guangzhou on Thursday .
When asked how he would describe his relationship with his brother , he said , "Right now it's cold and I think part of the reason is because of my writing . My writing has alienated some people in my family ."
Even though he left their relationship was distant , "I hope that my brother and I can really hug each other after he's president and we can be a family again," said Ndesandjo , who resembles Obama . Like the President , Ndesandjo also has a white American mother , Ruth Ndesandjo , a Jewish woman who was Barack Obama Sr.'s third wife .
Ndesandjo , 48 , has lived for 12 years in the southern Chinese boomtown of Shenzhen , next door to Hong Kong . He moved there to teach English after losing his job when the US. economy cratered folloling September 11 , 2001 , attacks and now works as a consultant . Ndesandjo , who is married to a Chinese woman learned to speak Chinese and immersed himself in the study on Chinese culture , including poetry and brush calligraphy . Trained as a classical pianist , he gives lessons as a volunteer at an orphanage .
Some of the book's profits will go to charities for children , including Ndesandjo's own foundation , which uses art to help disadvantaged kids .
In his new book , Ndesandjo recalls alcohol-fueled beating meted out by his father to his mother . He recounts on incident in which his father held a knife to his mother's throat because she took out a restraining order against him .
His parents met when Obama Sr. was a graduate student at Harvard University and moved in 1964 to Kenya , when Mark and his brother David was born . David later died in a motorcycle accident .
Obama Sr. had earlier divorced President Obama's mother Stanley Ann Dunham , after Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961 .
Mark Ndesandjo's mother later divorced the senior Obama and married another man , whose surname both mother and son took .
Ndesandjo and Obama did not grow up together . Ndesandjo was brought up in Keyna but moved to the U.S. for college , earning a bachelor's degree in physics at Brown University , a master's in the same subject from Stanford University and MBA at Emory University .
The book recounts Ndesandjo's first encounter with Obama , who was visiting Kenya in 1988 . They did not hit it off .
"Barack thought I was too white and I thought he was too black ," Ndesandjo said . "He was an American searching for his African roots , I was a Kenyan , I'm an American but I was living in Kenya , searching for my white roots ."
The 500-page book includes an appendix listing a number of alleged factual errors in Obama's 1995 memoir, "Dreams from my Father," such as quotes incorrectly attributed to Ndesandjo' mother .
It's a correction . A lot of stuff that Barack wrote is wrong in that book and I can understand that because to me for him the book was a tool for fashioning an identity and he was using composites ," Ndesandjo said . "I wanted to bring it up because first of all I wanted the record to be straight . I wanted o tell my own story , not let people tell it to me ," he said .
Witchy says : Definitely a well educated family ! I will be in line to get that book ... Obama's sister wrote a very good book also , she was educated in Germany , she received a PHD there . At least Obama's family believes in education . Obama's father only saw him once when he was 10 . The brother (on the other hand) had to grow up with him . Two different upbringings .

Rowling will be co-producer on the show , along with veteran British theater produces Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender . The statement said Rowling will collaborate with a writer but will not write the script herself .
"Over the years I have received countless approaches about turning Harry Potter into a theatrical production , but Sonia and Colin's vision was the only one that really made any sense to me and which had the sensitivity , intensity and intimacy I thought appropriate for bring Harry's story to the stage ," Rowling said .
Writer and director have yet to be chosen . No opening date has been set for the show , will be developed in Britain next year .
Rowling's Harry Potter novels have sold more than 450 million copies around the world and was adapted into eight Warner Bros, feature films .
Witchy says :
I have read all seven of the Harry Potter novels . If I graduated from Hogwarts , upon my turning 21 , I would go to Las Vegas . There I would use my magic to , pardon the 'pun' , beat the crap out of the casinos . Then when the muggle management tried to ban me , I would use my magic to wipr out their memories and keep on winning ! Things are looking up ... HeHe
The former lead singer of the rock band Lostprophets was sentenced Wednesday to 29 years in jail , with a British judge saying that Ian Watkins had "plumbed new depths of depravity" in committing a string of sexual offenses against very young children .
Watkins , 36 , pleaded guilty last month to 13 charges , including trying to rape a baby , sexually touching a 1-year-old , encouraging a fan to abuse her child and making child pornography .
Judge John Royce called Watkins a manipulative and dangerous sexual predator who had abused his famed to help satisfy his "insatiable lust."
"Those who have appeared in these courts over many years see a large number of horrific cases ," Royce said in the sentencing at Cardiff Crown Court . "This case , however , breaks new ground ."
Watkins ... who was visibly shaking during sentencing ... must serve at least two-thirds of his 29-year term , then spend six more years on strict probation .
Lostprophets ... which formed in 1997 and had a chart-topping album in 2006 with Liberation Transmission ,,, announced it was disbanding after Watkins arrest .
Police are investigating whether Watkins had other victims elsewhere in the world , given his extensive touring schedule .
Detective Chief Inspector Peter Doyle said detectives were pursuing leads in Germany and the United States . He said police have been in touch with Interpol , the German Federal Police and U.S. Homeland Security . Two female accomplices , described by prosecutors as "active participants in the most shocking abuse of their own children ,: were jailed for 15 and 16 years , respectively . They have not been identified in order to protect the identities of the children .
Mr. Humble : Lets hear it from our in-house expert : What a disgusting POS . He may not ever see the light of day again , other inmates don't like these type of people . Doubt he will finish his time . He will regret the day he ever thought about touching a child .
Should we be surprise ! You bet your 'ASS' !! Children nowadays are exposed to the most blatant sexual exploits possible before they are able to process what they are looking at and when a misfit like this piece of trash is exposed , we say "On My" how can this be --- Wake up people !! This sort of thing is Not the problem --- it is a result of a complete disregard for decency and respect brought by the media and lax of standards of behavior . Why can't we see this and say 'NO' to this shameful behaviors that distorts the thinking of children . Our lax of standard condoning everything and anything has brought this kind of sad abuse , Wake up . Speak up . Stop the trend toward "everything and anything " before we are destroyed , remember our kids are our future .
Now for my humble opinion that will help to stop all this nonsense . Just one good town hanging or cutting these pedophiles heads off would put a quick halt to these sicko;s .
If Watkins make it to the end of his sentence I'll be shocked . Because with all that unwanted unprotected 'ADULT SEX' he's going to be having (diseases and all).
You think that was the reason Watkins was visible shaking in his boots , because he knew what was waiting for him in prison (smiling) I think that's what Witchy would say .

George Zimmerman is leaving the Sunshine State for good ... TMZ has learned ... he might be heading for your neck of the woods .
As was reported , George had about enough of Florida , primarily because he feels like he's become a sitting duck for the media and law enforcement to prey on him .
It's said he would have moved a lot sooner , but the domestic violence incident with his girlfriend last month ... the one with the shotgun ... kept him on lockdown within State lines ... literally . He had to get an ankle monitor .
But now that his girlfriend has recanted her claims and the charges have been dropped , Zimmerman's a free man once again ... a free man who can legally pack heat again ... and he's planning to make the big move in the next couple of weeks .
As for where Zimmerman is headed ... he's not saying ... because he's still afraid for his safety after the shooting death of Trayvon Martin .
Witchy Says : Stay the hell out MY state , you fatassmofopunk or you'll likely find yourself prone like Trayvon . People around here don't take too kindly to the likes of your type , old George Eyes-Like-Two Holes-In-A-Snowbank.
You come here you crazy retarded S.O.B. this is what you will get . I am so hot , I can hardly stand it ... Hahahahaha!!!!
Shreveport Louisiana's Cole Vosbury was eliminated on NBC's "The Voice" Tuesday night , but his time on TV hasn't ended quite yet .
The 22-year-old singer will appear on the TODAY show , also on NBC , Thursday morning . Vosbury said he was boarding a plane for New York City in a Tweet he posted Wednesday afternoon .
"About to get on a plane to New York for the TODAY show ! First time to New York !" he Tweeted .
TODAY later confirmed the appearance in their own Tweet .
Meanwhile , Vosbury's fans took to social media to express their disappointment in his elimination and to show support for his future in music .
While he's still figuring out his niche , Vosbury now realizes his coach is "proud" of his journey and feels "vindicated," adding his belief in ordered chaos because the sudden addition of an extra steal is what brought him an opportunity to get this far in the competition . "I think I ended up in the perfect spot and I don't know if I'd have made it to the top five if I stayed with Team Cee Lo" Vosbury says .
Although he didn't make it to the end , Vosbury reveals he wasn't surprised by the announcement after discovering his fellow contestants charted high on iTunes , an indicator of the final results . But while dishing some man-scraping advice to MTV News , Vosbury offered another explanation for his elimination .
"Never let 'em cut it [ your beard] because it's the source of all your powers ... Monday night they cut my bread and Tuesday night I went home , so ..."
