Cop and Teens Settle Differences With Nae Nae dance-off

Police and teenagers may not agree on a lot of things, but there is one thing they can agree on—the Nae Nae dance.

On Monday, a Washington D.C. cop approached a group of teenagers and encouraged them to disperse after a fight. Instead of leaving, however, 17-year-old Aaliyah Taylor walked up to the cop and started performing the Nae Nae dance. The cop, not one to be outdone by a teenager, then responded using a slightly untraditional police tactic. She started a dance-off.
“I mostly hold my head down when I dance, so I didn’t really see her,” Taylor told The Washington Post. “But when I looked at the video after, I was like ‘Oh, she has some moves.'”
While Taylor appears to have won the dance-off, the cop’s effort seems to have been appreciated by everyone. “I never expected cops to be that cool. There are some good cops,” Taylor said.
Shortly after the battle, the conflict was settled, the two hugged, and everyone walked off in peace.
Watch them whip whip their way to justice.

Who knew community policing could involve the Nae Nae? Great example of police having fun while keeping us safe:
