David Letterman : I'm Retiring

David Letterman, the longest-serving late-night talk show host in TV history, has just announced his retirement.

Letterman made the announcement during the taping of his show Thursday in New York, telling the audience his last show will take place in 2015.

He told the audience ... he's turning 67 and wants to spend more time with his family. Dave went on to say he'd be retiring in the next year or 2. The audience thought he was joking because he said, "Finally Paul and I can get married."

Witchy wonders   who cares : End of another era in television, I hope Craig gets his spot . . Nothing original on TV nighttime or daytime. Sucks! It's all reality crap now. Ugh.

Looking forward to the fight to see who replaces him.
Seems like all there IS on TV these days is talk shows and reality shows.

CBS is not renewing because the 2 Jimmy's on NBC and ABC are killing ole Dave in the ratings. Time to go out to pasture old man.

  1. Thank goodness. I thought he would never go away. Some guys just can't see when their time has come. Now his wife will always know where he is...in her face 24/7.
She was better off when he was tucked away in his secret room with a staff member at his office....Ha!
