How Are Michael's Kids Doing ??....Updates on Involved People

PRINCE, PARIS & BLANKET JACKSON

"They don't have any friends," their guardian, Katherine Jackson, told the Daily Mirror this month, in a headline-making aside. "They don't go to school, they have private lessons at home--but that will change in September, when they are due to enroll at private college." Friendless or not, Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8, have come out from under wraps in every way since their father's passing. They made their uncloaked public debut at the tear-jerking conclusion of Michael's Staples Center memorial service, and went on to attend the Grammys this year. In a development that might alarm their protective dad, they've even posted videos of themselves on YouTube--including Blanket's recreation of a scene from Monsters Inc. The kids are even said to have gone out door-to-door to proselytize for the Jehovah's Witness faith that Katherine is raising them in, just as their father did before he left the sect.

JOE JACKSON
The patriarch of the family continues to be one of American pundits' favorite punching bags, which some would find poetic justice. Although Joe wasn't mentioned in his son's will, he seems determined to inherit some of the public attention. His latest shocking statement seemed to lay some of the blame for Michael's death on Katherine: He said he had asked his wife to visit their son "to keep him cheered up," but she declined for fear of violating Michael's privacy. "I said this would have never happened if you had went and been with him," Joe said he told Katherine. But the senior Jackson has been feeling the heat ever since he went on the red carpet at the 2009 BET Awards and talked about a new record label he was starting...three days after Michael's death. In recent legal news, Joe Jackson's lawyer has filed complaints with the California Medical Board against AEG--creating a rare instance where many fans may side with the big corporation against the little guy.

KATHERINE JACKSON
In testimony to Michael's closeness with his mother, she was the only family member other than his children to immediately benefit from his will, and has become the guardian of his kids. But even Michael's beloved mum has been involved in some controversies. Katherine has aligned herself with Howard Mann, a businessman who TMZ says "promotes online nude gambling." Together, Mann has said, they plan to produce a Jackson biopic and sell 273 unreleased tracks that were discovered when Mann bought a storage unit owned by the Jackson family. They've already collaborated on a coffee-table book, Never Can Say Goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archives, which is being sold online. Child protective services came to the family manse in Encino after it was reported that Jaafar Jackson--one of three children of Jermaine's who also live at the house--had brandished a stun-gun near one or more of Michael's children. In this week's controversy, Katherine is scheduled to travel to hometown Gary, Indiana, for an event commemorating the anniversary of Michael's death, even though Randy Jackson is publicly rallying for the entire family to gather at Michael's tomb in Glendale, California

DR. CONRAD MURRAY
The doctor who injected Jackson with Propofol and performed unsuccessful CPR on the singer has faced legal trouble in three states. In California, he's awaiting trail for involuntary manslaughter. Attempts to take away his license to practice medicine in California in the meantime have been unsuccessful, though Murray has said it's irrelevant because he only practices in Texas now. In Nevada, his license may be in trouble due to unpaid child support; in Texas, he has only lost the power to administer sedatives. On a recent US Airways flight, he administered emergency aid to an unconscious woman. Joe Jackson continues to pursue action against Murray, most recently claiming that the doctor was seen drinking at a strip club before Michael's death, although associates claim the doc is a non-drinker. "I know what trouble is," Murray told his Houston church congregation last fall. "I, with my compassion, was only trying to help my fellow man. But it appears I was at the wrong place at the wrong time." Murray was new enough to Jackson's employ at the time of the death that he never did get paid for any of his services.
I wonder if he will sue the estate for the wages owed to him...

More updates on the Jackson family and their associates in this drama tomorrow.

  1. Hi PIC how's it going? Lousy weather here. Went to Toronto today during a storm and ran into all the security surrounding the G8/G20 summit. Lots of leaders from around the world here.Unbelievable security.

Saw Sammy in the playoffs. His team lost but we had a big celebration anyway. Probably go to the lake tomorrow.

Cheered Jer up. He is having a problem finding a job he wants. I told him to just find any job for now and keep sending the resume out to all the companies he likes. Something will turn up. So he is going to try to get a job at the big casino in his town( my suggestion). He could run a poker table or any other kind of table. He is an expert gambler. He liked the idea. ....have a nice weekend.... PIC

  2. Checking in to see how it was going with you.
Glad you made it back home okay, seen the post on FTBB and it was awful, I never heard of them rioting in Canada, but it looks like people everywhere is taking a stand, but it would be better if they let the leaders talk.
Jon have told us about the riots in Watt's...a annex of Los Angeles some time back...I do hope no one get's seriously hurt.

Glad to hear everyone celebrated Sammy's game, he know's it not win or lose but the way you play the game...Sammy did good and we are proud of him.

Tell Jer to take a job to have pocket money, it seems when you have a job you can always hear about others, because you are out there in the work force.
Tell Jer we know he wanr's to show his stuff but he will in due time.

Hope Brian and Nana is doing okay and the weather hold for you and the Rock to go to the lake and have a relaxing day.

Not doing anything special, just don't feel up to entertaining tomorrow, I guess it's the heat, but I will put a smile on my face and grin and bear it.[giggles]
I do like giving having sit down get togethers the only thing they just don't know how to go home.
Now my advice to Jer follows....

  3. If Jer love poker and people , he will make a great poker dealer and get good tips.
I think it works the same there as here...
We teach our dealers how to deal all the table games, I also like dealing blackjack...
I think all casinos promote from within...they do down here...
Tell Jer to try it on for size and he will love it and he can grow within the company...I don't know about there , but we can't play at the casino we work in.
They will give him a background check and a drug test and we all know he will past those and he will have to pay for his license...we have them to pay part and the rest will come out of their checks.
Here we furnish the shirts and vests , but they have to furnish the pants and shoes.
Here they wear black pants/shoes/socks and the ladies wear the same but they can wear skirts if they want to.
After they are employed 6 months they can tranfer somewhere else.
If Jer love poker I know he will love the table games and they will teach him how to deal and dealing poker the guests are playing against each other ao all he will be doing is dealing and giving the chips to the winner and there are money to be made.
When I was dealing I made $3.75 an hour, dealers and waitress don't make money like the other employees, but the tips are good..
It's a lot of pointers I have left out but will put them down as we go.

PIC...tell Jer I started out as a part-time dealer and decided to deal full time and in no time I was pulling down good money and in 17 months I was supervisor and 6 months later I was manager of all the table games...so tell him to learn them all not just poker, but to deal poker and I think he knows how to read people.
Tell him to learn their names and they will always want his table if possible and that's when the tips roll in.
Tell Jer to go for it until he finds what he want.
Jer is the one with the dark bedroom eyes you said hands off.[giggles]

If you think of anything to ask about the game, just ask and I will be glad to answer.
But dealing poker, the guests is playing against each other...so he won't be losing the house money..

Have a great weekend and se ya soon.
    HUGS & KISSES....PIC
    KISS THE ROCK.

PS: Tell Jer to go for it. He will meet so many interesting people from everywhere.

  4. Thankyou for the good advice.Jer wiil appreciate it.He did seem quite excited by the idea.i will probably have questions for you, assuming he can get in there. His town which is about 40 minutes from here doesn't seem to have much emplyment ot offer right now, but that will change because they are in the process of building a university there and that changes the economy of a small town.

I hope your entertaining went well. It's hot and muggy here. I can only imagine what it is like down there. My thick Canadian blood probably couldn't stand it. We did a little gardening today .Put off the lake until tomorrow.
We have to be at the hospital at nine and we'll take the rest of the day off and relax.

I hope your little ones are having a lovely summer holiday.it 's the kind of summer you should be spending in a villa at a beach. I'm so sorry that you can't do that in your state any more.

The demonstrations in Toronto were very peaceful except for a small group of people dressed all in black who caused all the violence. They were masked and did not seem to have any purpse in mind except destruction. They had no point to make.It ruined it for everyone.
    Well kid, see you later...luv..PIC
