Johnny Depp and longtime partner Vanessa Paradis are separating the actor's
rep confirmed to "Entertainment Tonight" on Tuesday. "Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children."
The news comes after several breakup rumors made the rounds this spring. In May, the "Dark Shadows" actor addressed rumors that he and Paradis were on the rocks.
"The rumors are not true. They are absolutely not true,"Depp said in a red carpet interview at the London premiere of "Dark Shadows," according to the U.K.'s The Sun. "No matter what I say about this, people believe the opposite ... I can’t say enough about it not being over."
A source close to the couple also revealed in May that Depp and Paradis were trying to keep their relationsip together, telling E! Online, "For the first time in a long time, he is talking about her ... They both want to make it work."
The couple has been together for 14 years and they have two children together, Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 10.

ReplyDeleteYou always hope that this one will be different but actors are peculiar people. They seem to live in a different world from the rest of us.
You should have hung in there Johnny. It would have got better again. You invested so many years emotionally in the relationship and family anf now you are throwing your investment away.ow you will regret it.
I totally agree ... I hope they can work it out ... they seemed so happy .
