Mel Gibson's 93-year-old father wants a divorce.
According to TMZ, Hutton Gibson filed to divorce his wife , Teddy Joye Gibson, on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair have been married since 2002.
Hutton has reportly requested spousal support and attorney fees from Teddy Joye, who is in her 70s.
Hutton Gibson is hardly the first Gibson to make divorce headlines. Mel Gibson's 2009 divorce from Robyn Gibson , his wife of 31 years, resulted in one of the priciest divorce settlements in Hollywood. Robyn, who filed divorce docs after news broke that Gibson's now-estranged girlfriend , Oksana Grigorieva, was pregnant, reportedly walked away with half of his estimated $ 850 million dpllar fortune when their divorce was finalized in December 2011.
The actor has yet to comment on the split, but should he decide to, he could take cues from other celebrities and himself for sure .

Hutton is asking that his estranged wife pay his legal fees and is seeking spousal support from Teddy. Mel's dad also requests that he not be ordered to pay any spousal suppport to his soon-to-be-ex-wife.
Hutton's lawyer, Fahi Hallin told RadarOnilne.com exclusively: "I'm hoping this divorce won't be contentious. I'm not at liberty at this time to discuss why my client has decided to file for divorce, or why he is seeking spousal support."
As RadarOnline.com reported ,
Mel's dad drew criticism after he questioned how the Nazi's disposed of six million Jewish people during World War 2 in a New York Times Magazine article. "Go and ask an undertaker or the guy who operates the crematorium what it takes to get rid of a dead body," he said. "It takes one liter of petrol and 20 minutes. Now, six million."
