Barbara Talks with the Obama's on How to Keep The Fire Going

Is your marriage going soft? Well you're in luck, because President Barack Obama's got some tips for keeping things spicy with your significant other.

Barack and his wife Michelle sat for an interview with Barbara Walters recently, when Barbara asked how the couple "keeps the fire going."

Barack laughed, then replied, "We've been married now twenty years, and like every marriage you have your ups and you have your downs, but if you work through the tough times the respect and love that you feel deepens."

And that's the secret, folks.

Keeping it real  :
Thanks Mr. President! There you go folks...no sex tapes necessary.

Waste of time telling that to these modern day male sissies....lol

Well, lavish dinners, AF1, Hawaii, vacations, SS detail, all add in a bit of spice, eh?? Try it on a salary taxed to the max by yourself, and being a regular guy on the street, it's a tad less spicy....

Charles Durning , Jack Klugman Deaths Bring New Appreciation For Character Actor Titans

Charles Durning, Jack Klugman Deaths Bring New Appreciation For Character Actor Titans

NEW YORK — What a couple of mugs, sporting less-than-perfect physiques in the bargain.

But was there anything lovelier than Jack Klugman or Charles Durning doing what they did for an audience?

Rumpled Klugman exploding at his prissy flat-mate Tony Randall in the long-running sitcom "The Odd Couple." Portly Durning hoofing, fleet of foot, and singing how "E, I love to do a little sidestep" in the film "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." Each was a luminous display of the extraordinary possibilities of the ordinary.

Klugman and Durning (both of whom died Monday, Klugman at 90 in Los Angeles, Durning at 89 in New York) spent storied careers building catalogues of roles that classed them indisputably as "character actors."

Even with a certain "always-a-bridesmaid-never-a-bride" taint attached to it, the term "character actor" commands respect and affection among audiences, even audience members who may not quite realize their level of investment in such artistry.

Traditional stardom – "leading man" status – is conferred on the actors who embody a fantasy, an ideal. They are famously out of reach of a ticket holder or a couch potato, other than through sitting back and watching from afar. Dreams are a powerful engine of Hollywood, and these actors – whether Clark Gable or Will Smith – are thrilling dream agents.

But there's another breed of actor – the group in which Klugman and Durning reign supreme – who sustains us in more comfortable ways. If a star like Brad Pitt stirs the frisson of eternal longing in the audience (oh, to be with him, or be him!), a character actor serves another need: cinematic kinship.

Klugman solving crimes as a lab geek on his series "Quincy, M.E.," or Durning as a stressed-out cop ("Dog Day Afternoon") or a romantic who's smitten with Dustin Hoffman in drag ("Tootsie") – these are actors we identify with, instantly and eagerly. Nothing seems to stand between us and what they do. They, with their just-coping-with-life heroics, show us who we are, or could be if we try a little harder (or warn us of the jam that might befall us if we don't). They are our proxies.

They never go out of style. They never lose their appeal. They are never put away because their looks have faded or their waistline thickened. We stick with them, just as they stick with us. (Durning was working into his late 80s in a recurring role as the irascible father of Denis Leary's firefighter protagonist on the drama "Rescue Me"). In this way, too, they resemble everybody we truly love: We love them in every phase of their lives.

Like most of us, the character actor seldom if ever gets the girl or saves the world. They aren't flashy. But with their own special magnetism, they remind us, in role after role, that everyday people are special, too.

Sure, we love being dazzled by Hollywood glamour. We love stars who make us weak in the knees.

But an actor like Klugman or Durning bears a message that applies far beyond the realm of Tinseltown, a message worth remembering with every performance: Beauty is, as beauty does.

Now, with their passing, we don't feel the pain of loss as much as gratitude for all the happy hours shared with Durning and Klugman. We are so glad for knowing them. Never mind we never met.

Just a thought :
It's better being a character actor than a star. First, one doesn't get typecast or pigeon-holed into a particular type of role. Second, if the film is a bomb, the character actor doesn't get blamed, and suddenly declared "unbankable", as a star would. Mr. Durning was able to play good cop (Dog Day Afternoon) and bad cop (The Sting) all on his own. He could play genial or mean. Mr. Klugman impressed in supporting roles in such films as Twelve Angry Men and Days Of Wine And Roses before achieving tv stardom with his two series. Both gentlemen were equally adept in comedy and drama. Rest in peace, sirs. Thank the both o;f you for the hours of entertainment you provided.

Klugman and Durning are part of a seemingly dwindling breed of actor. Philip Seymour Hoffman is one of the best purveyors of the craft.

I can't pick really a favorite of these two artists - the difference for me is that Durning could put unusual nuance into roles where it wasn't written in, and that Klugman disappeared into his roles.

Queen Elizabeth II Rocks 3D Glasses For Christmas Message

Queen Elizabeth II is making quite the fashion statement this holiday season.

For the first time, the monarch recorded a 3D version of her annual Christmas Day message — and in a just-released photo, she’s rocking the special glasses to view her specially formatted announcement.

The Queen’s blinged-out shades — complete with crystals forming a "Q" — make a nice addition to her typical ensemble.

As for the 3D message itself, a royal spokesperson explained, "We wanted to do something a bit different and special in this Jubilee year, so doing it for the first time in 3D seemed a good thing, technology-wise, to do."

Her yearly message is set to be broadcast at 10 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday.

She will celebrate the holiday at her family’s country estate in Sandringham, although Prince William will be spending Christmas with his inlaws .

Oksana Grigorieva : Mel Should Be Investigated

Oksana Grigorieva is not publicly commenting about statements Mel Gibson allegedly made about her to screenwriter Joe Eszterhas, but her rep is doing the talking, and he tells TMZ authorities should launch a probe.

Eszterhas claims Mel talked about offing Oksana several times. To that Oksana's rep, Steve Jaffe says, "Mr. Eszterhas' charges are extremely serious and should be investigated by the authorities immediately."

Jaffe says Oksana has no comment. We're told she signed a confidentiality agreement with Mel when they ended their custody/money war.
Just a thought :
Mel Gibson is a man of his words... and his words are hateful, disgusting and racist. Not just to Jews. He hates and has used racial slurs against African Americans, Latinos, Asians and women. These rants have been RECORDED. So who do you want to believe? Even worse... he may make a sequel to The Beaver! The hate filled man must be STOPPED!!Oksana, you should take the threats seriously, he sounds crazy again.

Oksana Grigorieva's New Album ... Not on Mel Gibson Christmas List

If you're on Mel Gibson's Christmas list this year, here's one thing you DEFINITELY won't be getting ... Oksana Grigorieva's new album .

Mel was in a rare, jovial mood when we spotted him chatting with fans outside a screening of "Apocalypto" in Hollywood last night. When our photog shouted to Mel ... "You gonna pick up Oksana's album?" ... he gave a HUGE chuckle before shaking his head and walking away.

Hey, it would be better than socks. Ok, maybe not .

Steves Job's Yacht 'IMPOUNDED' In Amsterdam

Steve Jobs' $197 million super yacht "Venus" has been literally CHAINED to a dock in Amsterdam by Dutch authorities ... after the ship's designer claimed the Jobs family stiffed him on $4 million in unpaid wages.

The designer -- Philippe Starck -- claims the late Apple founder had agreed to pay him a fee that equaled 6% of the ship's building cost ... back when Jobs commissioned the yacht in 2009 ... but no formal contract was ever written up.

Starck claims the yacht cost roughly $197 million to build -- entitling him to an estimated $12 million fee.

But the Jobs family insists the boat only cost $138 million -- meaning Starck deserves no more than $8 million.

Starck has since obtained an Amsterdam court order, requiring the family to pay the $4 million balance ... or the massive 260 ft yacht stays chained to the dock.

FYI -- the boat was only launched a couple months ago. Jobs passed away in October 2011.

Dez Duron : What's Next

As a contestant this season on NBC's hit music competition "The Voice," Shreveport's own Dez Duron was chosen  by superstar Christina Aguilera  to be one of her team  who she would mentor  and coach .
Duron made it through  five weeks  of the competition  before being voted off  the program  November 27 . Before leaving leaving the show  , he became a fan  favorite  , not only for his incredible voice but  for his looks  and personality  as well . Throughout his many appearances on the program , Duron demonstrated  the stage presence of a seasonal professional  with a seemingly innate sense of how  to work the audience  and the camera .
Of all his performances  on "The Voice" his favorite was "Can't Take My Eyes Off You." That was passionate  but playful , Duron said . "But every song had a different approach , so every one  was a different  lesson in how to work the stage , he said .
Duron was briefly on the show in its second season  , but to a blind audition  , no judge turned around to choose him , the format of the show  is the four judges  hear the preformers  sing without  actually seeing them . If a judge likes what they hear  and wants to work  with the singer  as a mentor  and coach , they turn their chairs around .
Though nobody got it the first  go round , he was allowed to come back and compete  again in this seasons program . After what happen  the first  time on the show  , when Blake turned his chair around  , it really took the pressure off , said Duron . In the end Duron chose to work  with Aguilera . I had listen to Christina  for years  , Duron said  . I felt stylistically  , we would be a good fit .Seemingly at ease in front of a television  audience  in the millions  , Duron feels like his football  background was a big help ."My time in church  had helped me develop  my singing," Duron said . "And my time in football  helped me learn to deal with pressure ."
Duron had actually been attending  Yale University  and playing football  there , as he had done  all through high school  , when he made the brave decision to focus on his music career . "I think I was fooling myself  for a while  , that I could do both ,he said . "The Voice' gave me the courage  to leave school  , to focus on what I wanted to do  , which is sing."
When I first got here  , I will  admit  I had been a little naive ," Duron said . "However  , I have been fortunate to be surrounded  by helpful  caring people  who are looking out for me . Coming from Shreveport  , I was used to being aroung people with good hearts  , but I have found people here too . I'm certainly not paranoid  , but out here  where the focus  is so much on business , you just have to judge  sometimes  why someone wants to be your friend ."
"Still , I really love living in Los Angeles  ," Duron  said  . "It helps remind me that music is my life .
That was evident  from an early age  as Duron was in a pop group  at the age of 12  with two of his siblings  and had his first manager  by the age of 18 . During the ensuing years  , he performed  in musical theater  and at his famiy's annual Christmas pageant , "Songs of the Season."  Longtime family friend Lauren Ross , who directed Dez  in a number  of theatrical productions  through the years  , thinks he has what it takes to suceed . "He is extremely  hard-working ," said Ross . "And he is so humble  , kindhearted and a gentleman . He is so deserving of the sucess  ,I'm sure  will come his way .Duron has been writing  songs himself  for the past 10 months  , sometimes by himself  and sometimes co-writing  with friends  or other writers  he meets through  business connections .
"My family knows my heart  and they are the type  of supportive  family  that is happy when you are happy . My family has had an influence on my life and career  , Duron said . "Also , the support  from the community  in Shreveport  has been amazing .
"I don't know if there  will be a tour  with this season's contestants ," Duron said . "But I would be up for it  if it happens .
With a background in theater  , one has to wonder  if Duron  has been thinking  about jumping  from music into movies  as so many singers do . "It would be amazing  at some point  to do  some acting ," Duron said . "But for  the time being , I want to focus on my music "Christina really helped me develop a lot more trust  in myself and my instincts . When I struggled  , she kept me lifted up  . We will definitely stay in touch . The best advice she  gave me was to have fun .
Duron knows the music industry is serious business  , but he remains grounded  in a foundation of faith and family  and will certainly take Aguilera's advice and find that time to have fun .
A resident  of Los Angeles  since September  , Duron  has already secured  a contract  with a high profile management  company . Sara Ramaker  of Career  Artist Management  , an affiliate  of Irving Azoff's Front Line Management  Group , will guide Duron's career .
Thanx  Karl ... NEE

President Barack Obama : How did Spiderman Get in the White House

Turns out ... Spider-Man is a Republican.

President Barack Obama just posted this pic on his Twitter feed ... showing POTUS goofing around with the son of a White House staffer in the Outer Oval Office just before Halloween.

For the record, this kid did a better job than Andrew Garfield.

Don't care what anyone says, this guy inherited a major problem with our economy and has brought hope to this country. As you can see in this pic, he's a cool azz Pres!
Lets stand together :
This is a very cute picture of our American president. Does not matter if one approves or disapproves on his presidency. That is a very lucky child, not many can say they went to work with mommy or daddy and got to play with a president.

It's sad how this once UNITED country has fallen so far from that. I'm not a democrat, but I'm not above saying they have good ideas and bad ideas just like the republicans. If we stop acting like drones and just voting purely on party stance, and our government can put asides their bull-shit stances this country can be what it use to be ...GREAT. Just because you didn't vote for Obama doesn't make you  some loser or racist (democrats) and just because someone voted for Obama doesn't mark them an idiot or blind to the truth (republicans) Lets try to become the UNITED States  of America once again. By the way the kid just went spidey on the prez, nice picture.

Honey Boo Boo Redneck Reality TV Ignites 'SURGE' in Hillbilly Porn

America's obsession with hillbillies is spilling over into the adult industry in a BIG WAY ... because sales of redneck-themed porn has nearly TRIPLED in the last two years ... TMZ has learned.

The toothless, backwoods, yokel formula has already proven to be a recipe for success in reality TV -- spawning hits like "Honey Boo Boo," "Duck Dynasty" and "Swamp People" ... in fact, MTV has already announced plans for an upcoming hillbillly-themed reality show.

Now, one of the biggest websites in porn is also recording record sales in the hillbilly/redneck genre (there's a XXX genre for everything) ... and it credits the boom in sales to the bumpkins on the "mainstream" side of the things.

TMZ spoke with a rep for GameLink.com, who tells us the company has seen a 250% increase in Southern, white-trashy porn titles since 2010 ... when the redneck reality shows began to take off.

In fact, we're told prior to the release of the reality shows, hillbilly porn was one of the site's worst-sellers. But now, Southern-themed titles like "Hillbilly Honeys," "Real White Trash" and "Ozark Sex Fiend" are RISING AGAIN ... with no signs of slowing down.

Redneck porn -- no teeth? No problem.

Let's take a look  because it seems the world is going to hell in a hand basket :
Replace the word 'redneck' with 'yo' mama . Then how would this be viewed? People in the appalachias and south are tired of the racism. Can't wait 'til civil war breaks out.
Yeah, I want to watch toothless redneck porn just about as much as I want to have a visual of Mrs Santa Claus pleasuring herself while Mr Santa is out working.
What the hell happened to my America?
Well, . . . while the "Robertsons" of Duck Dynasty are self described "rednecks", . . . they also seem to visit the dentist on a regular basis (decent teeth!!!), most have college educations, and the Robertson sons have legitimately "hot" wives (with children who look like future Ambercrombie models).
Somehow, . . . TMZ linking the Duck Dynasty crowd with a description of "the toothless, backwoods, yokel formula" seems less than genuine.
The "Swamp People" and "Honey Boo Boo" clans simply cannot compete with the Robertsons with regard to "class", or "entertainment value".
JUST SAYIN' . . .

Cameron Douglas Attacked in Prison

It has been a rough couple years for Cameron Douglas, Michael Douglas' son, who is currently serving a nine-and-a-half year prison sentence.

The 34-year-old is recovering from a broken leg and finger after a New York crime boss reportedly puta $100 bounty on his head . According to the New York Post, the hit is thought to be some form of payback for Douglas being a "rat," a title he may have earned after his psychiatrist accidentally revealed Cameron once testified against his drug suppliers.

"He broke his femur, which is hard to snap, and had to have a rod inserted," an anonymous source told the Post. "He told health services staff that he hurt them playing handball. "You don't break a femur playing handball".

Douglas is imprisoned for charges related to smuggling and selling drugs, including methamphetamine, heroin and prescription narcotics. The sentence was originally only five years, which increased after the troubled actor got caught smuggling heroin into prison.

Despite Cameron's difficulties, his father has remained by his side. In 2010, notes Radar, Michael Douglas regularly made the 200-mile trip to visit his son despite his own battle against cancer.

At the time, Michael acknowledged that his actions as "a bad father" contributed to his son's according to the UK's Daily Mail.

Another wasted life courtesy of the Hollywood fame and fortune machine

Even though Cameron Douglas is a drug dealer serving time, he is still his fathers child, and it's sad for Michael Douglas that he is unable to do what every parent wants to do, protect his child.

Sandy Tragedies:Parents Will Likely Steer Clear of the Name

The name "Sandy" is not likely to appear on many birth certificates for at least several years -- given 2 enormous recent tragedies with Sandy front and center -- but the reality is the name hasn't been popular for decades.

The evidence is compelling and also pretty obvious -- parents shy away from giving their children names associated with death and destruction, and in 2012, with Hurricane Sandy and the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary, the name conjures up those images.

Take Katrina -- immediately before the storm hit, the name was listed as the 281st most popular baby name for girls. The year following the hurricane it dropped to 379th and in 2010 it plunged further to 865.

But here's the thing with Sandy. It's a name whose popularity peaked in the 60s, and has failed to make the list of top 1,000 baby names since 2005. Sandra ranked somewhat higher, but still a relatively unpopular 614 last year.
Pamela Satran from Nameberry tells TMZ,"The mass murder at Sandy Hook is so horrible that we think parents will avoid Sandy as a name for a long time."
Just a thought:
Maybe we should stop giving Hurricanes Christian names. There is nothing "Christian" about Hurricanes, and it's really not fair to those who have the misfortune to share the same name as a deadly natural disaster (ie, all the "Katrinas" out there).

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! These recent, horrible killings should've sparked more serious and deep consideration about our mental care system, about gun control and security at schools, and about the way we parents are raising our children in this new, ultra fast changing technological era, and all you can think about is what's in a name?!?!?!?! Deep, guys. Very deep.

Greta Garbo : Belongings Sell for $1.6 Million

Greta Garbo may have been mysterious, but there's no doubting she was loved.

The movie star's personal possessions ,
including her sunglasses, shoes and furs, brought in an unexpected $1.6 million at auction this weekend -- proving the "Anna Karenina" star is as beloved as other Hollywood icons .

"Greta Garbo commanded Marilyn Monroe prices today,"Martin Nolan , the Executive Director of Julien's Auctions , which hosted the event said , (via The Wrap). "Her beauty, extraordinary screen presence and fashion trending style were proven to be timeless in this extraordinary two-day event."

Among Her belongings auctioned off were her sunglasses, which sold for $13,750, as well as her Louis Vuitton steamer trunk ($37,500), antique gold pocket knife ($8,960), driving caps ($15,000), jewelry set ($9,600), Ferragamo shoes ($8,125), Maltese cross brooch ($13,750), Valentina Ottoman silk overcoat ($11,520) and velvet black turban ($12,800).

The event brought in three times the estimated take at pre-auction.

Garbo was a Swedish-born actress who rose to stardom during Hollywood's silent and classic eras. She was nominated for four Academy Awards for her roles in films like "Anna Christie" and "Camille" and received an honorary Oscar in 1954 for her "luminous and unforgettable screen performances."

Garbo retired in 1941 and died in 1990 at the age of 84.

Lindsay Lohan : Dear Charlie , Sorry I never Said Thanks

Lindsay Lohan sent a belated "thank you" card and flowers to casa de Charlie Sheen for that $100k check he gave her -- this just days after he called her out for being ungrateful.

You'll recall ... Charlie did an interview this week and put LiLo's manners on blast, claiming the actress never actually thanked him for the money he gave her. Not a text, not a phone call ... nothing.

Now sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ ... LiLo didn't mean to be rude and the reason she never got around to thanking Charlie personally is because her phone broke and she lost all her contacts -- including the actor's number.

Besides that, we're told Lindsay got distracted trying to deal with her slew of legal problems -- like getting arrested in NYC and the new criminal charges filed against her stemming from her PCH crash -- and she simply lost track of time.

But she made up for it ... we're told LiLo saw Charlie's comments and immediately fired off a "thank you" letter and a bouquet of flowers to his house ... as both an apology and show of gratitude.

Usually the best way to thank Charlie is with hookers, but flowers are nice too.

Just a thought :
People who often feel entitled, don't have the common sense to be Thankful...

Lindsay Lohan : I Admit I've Lost Control

Lindsay Lohan has hit rock bottom yet again and she knows it ... finally admitting her life has gone off the rails and she desperately needs professional help ... TMZ has learned.

Lindsay's telling friends, she thought she had turned over a new leaf back in March when she completed the terms of her sentence in the jewelry heist case ... and Judge Stephanie Sautner maternally warned, "Stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work."

Lindsay clearly ignored that advice ... and now we're told she's inconsolable -- repeatedly calling her lawyer Shawn Holley in tears. In classic Lindsay form, she knows her life is out of control, but she's blaming it on others, saying she has again hooked up with a bad group of people and had run-ins with "opportunists" who have tried to provoke her.

As for drugs and alcohol ... Lindsay is still adamant ... she doesn't have a problem. As they say, there is none so blind as those who will not see.

Lindsay believes her real problem is that she never stuck with counseling, but thinks regular appointments with a professional could be her salvation. It's probably not coincidental that counseling is now the only possible way she can avoid jail for the new crimes and probation violation.

Finally ... Lindsay is confessing to friends she has a big problem with impulse control ... in other words, she doesn't think before she acts. She thinks a shrink can help her in that department.
If she did, maybe there'd be no such thing as "Liz and Dick."
Just wondering :
The most annoying thing about this is, the fact that her judge will eat this sob story up and give her another slap on the wrist.

Lindsay has no rock bottom. She digs until she sees rocks, snorts them up and then keeps digging. She'll keep digging till she comes out in China and then will say "See, Everyone was lying. There IS NO rock bottom!"

What I believe she is trying to say is she just needs two or three movies lined up. Maybe make $20 million for each movie. A new house, a few cars, and everybody bowing down at her feet. Shouldn't be a problem. After all she does have it together. She is LieLo. A legend in her own mind.

Jacintha Saldanha : Suicide Notes Criticised Hospital Staff

One of three apparent suicide notes left by the nurse at the centre of the royal hoax phone call criticised staff at the King Edward VII hospital where she worked, the Guardian has learned. Jacintha Saldanha , 46 , was found hanged in her apartment in the nurses' quarter of the hospital in Marylebone, central London, by a colleague and a security officer, an inquest into her death heard on Thursday. Three notes were found, two at the scene and one in the nurse's belongings.

She was found dead three days after two DJs rang the hospital from Australia posing as the Queen and Prince Charles in a prank call which Saldanha answered and put through to another nurse on the ward where the Duchess of Cambridge was being treated for morning sickness.

The dead woman's family has been given typed copies of the three handwritten notes by the police and has read the contents, the Guardian has been told.

One note deals with the hoax call by the DJs from 2Day FM, another details her requests for her funeral, and the third addresses her employers, the hospital, and contains criticism of staff there, the Guardian understands from two separate sources.

The Westminster coroner, Dr Fiona Wilcox, was told at the formal opening of the inquest that she had been found hanging in her apartment and there were also injuries to her wrists.

The hearing was told that paramedics who attended the scene in Weymouth Street made several attempts to revive her.

Scotland Yard is investigating a number of emails which the inquest heard were relevant to the nurse's death, as well as telephone calls made to and from her phone in the days before her death.

The Labour MP Keith Vaz, who is acting as a spokesman for Saldanha's husband and two children, published a letter from him to John Lofthouse, chief executive of the King Edward Vll hospital, calling for the "full facts" of what happened to be given to the family.

Earlier this week the nurse's family met Lofthouse and handed over a list of questions they want answered. Vaz said in his letter to Lofthouse: "I have dealt with similar cases in the past and I would agree with the prime minister that the family need to get the full facts, from the time she took the call from 2Day FM to the time she was found in her accommodation.

"The family gave you a list of questions that they wish the hospital to answer so that they can have the full facts of the case. I know they would appreciate answers to their questions in writing as soon as possible. They may also have additional questions."

Detective Chief Inspector James Harman said at the inquest that the Metropolitan police would be contacting officers in New South Wales as part of its inquiry. He said: "On Friday 7 December Jacintha Saldanha was found by colleagues and a member of security staff. At this time there are no suspicious circumstances apparent to me in relation to this death.

"A number of notes were recovered. Two notes were at the scene and a further note was found in the deceased's belongings. Three notes in total."

Saldanha, a mother of two, was identified by her husband, an accountant, the inquest heard.

Harman told the hearing: "There are a number of emails that are of relevance in helping us establish what may have led to this death and we are also looking at the deceased's telephone contacts. Detectives spoke to a number of witnesses, family, friends and colleagues in order to establish anything that led or may have contributed to this tragic death."

Saldanha was found three days after the DJs made the prank call. As the nurse on duty, she took the call and put it through to a colleague on the ward where the Duchess of Cambridge was being treated for morning sickness, who gave out information about her condition.

Harman told the coroner: "You will be aware of the wider circumstances of this case. And I expect in the very near future we shall be in contact with colleagues in New South Wales to establish the best means of putting the evidence before you."

The coroner's officer Lynda Martindill told the hearing that Saldanha, born in India, was a registered nurse and night nurse. Toxicology and histology test results were pending.

Adjourning the inquest until 26 March, Wilcox spoke directly to Saldanha's colleagues who attended the hearing. She said: "I wish to pass on my sympathy to you and her family and all those touched by this terribly tragic death."

A spokeswoman for the hospital said no one in senior management knew what the contents of the notes left by Saldanha were. She said the hospital management "were very clear that there were no disciplinary issues in this matter".

Both the nurses involved had been offered "full support" and "it was made clear they were victims of a cruel journalistic trick," she said.

The hospital has offered bereavement counselling for the family in Bristol, which they have decided to take up, according to Vaz.

The family did not attend the hearing. Speaking outside the inquest Vaz said Saldanha's relatives were "grieving in their homes … They are comforting each other and the community is comforting them."

He said he had passed on the coroner's comments. The family were grateful to the coroner's office and Metropolitan police, he added.

A memorial service will be held in Bristol. A mass will be held in the chapel at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday.

Matt Damon : I'm Naked "A Lot" in Upcoming Liberace Movie

Matt Damon opens up about getting naked, romance and more in the January/February issue of Playboy .

The actor tells the magazine, "Normally I’d say no to nudity, but I just did a lot of it playing the long-term partner of Liberace, Scott Thorson, in Behind the Candelabra."

Damon explains, "I mean, it’s tastefully done…But this movie’s not going to be for everyone."

For their intimate scenes together, Damon and co-star Michael Douglas "drew it up like a football plan."

"Michael was a wonderful kisser. My concerns ended up mattering a lot less once we were filming," says Damon.

As for his real-life marriage to wife Luciana, the star explains how they’ve been able to make it successful for the long haul in Hollywood.

"This is the first relationship I’ve had that wasn’t like work to be in," says Damon. "I never knew it could be like this. There’s always stuff you can work on, of course, but being married and having kids, for me, there’s a lot of romance, but it’s a much bigger endeavor with a lot of nuts-and-bolts problem-solving you have to do together."

But romance is not Damon’s strong suit.

"No, I’m sh*tty at that," he tells Playboy. "I wish I were better because my wife deserves somebody who surprises her with a gift or flowers or some wonderful idea. I’ve never been good at that, and she’s really good at it, which makes me feel even more like sh*t."

And living in a household of women is not always so easy for the A-lister.

He explains, "Lucy and the girls can definitely bring me to my knees. They just know. My wife gives me sh*t because it’s harder for me to discipline my girls, probably because they’re girls. With boys, I could relate more and it would probably be easier. Growing up, girls are so mysterious to us. Even as a grown man, they remain mysterious."

But Damon is perfectly happy to have a stable, quiet life as husband and father.

He says, "The narrative about me kind of goes, ‘He’s a boring married guy,’ which is great, because I don’t get any of that other stuff like Brad Pitt and George Clooney do."

Damon reflects, "People think I’m kind of vanilla and they leave me alone to work, have an actual private life and be a husband and dad."

Kate Middleton Prank : Nurse hanged Herself , Left Suicide Notes

The nurse in the Kate Middleton prank call scandal hanged herself with a scarf ... and left multiple suicide notes ... this according to officials in the U.K..

The London coroner handling the case told the court ... the body of Jacintha Saldanha was discovered by colleagues at her hospital living quarters, hanging from a wardrobe door.

The coroner says Saldanha had also suffered "some injuries to her wrist."

Officials also say the nurse left behind 3 notes ... two discovered near her body ... and one near her belongings. The contents of the notes have not been revealed to the media.

Saldanha was humiliated on a global scale in a radio prank carried out by 2 Australian DJs ... who pretended to be the Queen of England. Saldanha bought their act and connected them to a nurse who was treating Kate Middleton.

The DJs have since been suspended and the station has canceled the radio show.

Where is the love  and understanding for  others :
Who make prank calls to the hospital anyways...especially when someone is sick during their pregnancy. They should take the blame even if the nurse had issues. The crap wasn't even funny.

She looks like a quiet and shy person. So I can see how the humiliation on a world wide scale could send her over the edge. Such a sad situation.

The fact of the matter is that, had these DJs NOT pulled this prank, this woman would be alive today. Was she mentally unstable? Probably ... likely. But, their funny-funny prank pushed her over the edge. They ARE to blame. People need to take responsibility for the consequences directly relatable to their actions, and these DJs will have to live with the fact that this woman is dead because of them.

Meet Barbie's Human Twin

Is there room in Barbie's dream house for another bleach-blond, plastic wannabe?
Valeria Lukyanova, better known as the himan Barbie doll ,, thinks so. The Ukranian model and Internet sensation has found herself a playmate in Olga 'Dominica' Oleynik, according to The Daily Mail .
The 24-year-old could almost pass as Lukyanova's twin, as both women boast terrifyingly tiny waists, busts seemingly larger than their heads, flaxen hair extensions and large, wide, dead-looking eyes.
The two met online five years ago and both hail from the Ukrainian city of Odessa.
"We were curious about our similarities. We had the same hairstyle, make-up, and even dressed in a similar way. Our friends were sure that we were blood sisters," Lukyanova told the U.K. outlet. "We are really sisters - but only in spiritual way. We have the same outlook and lifestyle."

Lukyanova has garneded plenty of buzz this past year for her doll-like looks, though some claim her plastic appearance is fake , and she owes her Mattel-inspired looks to photoshop.
Naysayers be damned, however, as Lukyanova and her near-twin plan on taking America by a storm -- with lectures on spirituality.
"We are planning to move to America soon. Dominica's boyfriend is living in the US and my husband wants to start a business there too," Lukyanova revealed. '"I am not going to be bored abroad, I'm often invited to photo-shoots and parties."
Watch out, America; the plastic princesses are on their way.

Justin Bieber :Convicted Killer Allegedly Plotted Murder & Castration

A convicted killer locked up in New Mexico plotted to have Justin Bieber murdered and castrated ... but for some mysterious reason, he threw a wrench into his own plans -- this according to a local news report in New Mexico.

According to KROE News , convicted murderer Dana Martin -- currently serving two life sentences for raping and killing a 15-year-old girl in Vermont in 2000 -- recruited a fellow inmate at Las Cruces prison named Mark Staake to carry out the murder once Staake was released.

It's unclear when the plot was originally hatched, but Staake and his nephew Tanner Ruane -- whom Staake had later recruited to help -- reportedly planned to execute the murder plan in NYC last month, where Bieber was performing at MSG.

Martin reportedly told police the plan was to kidnap Bieber and his bodyguard and strangle them with paisley ties, Martin's calling card. Ruane was then going to castrate them.

According to KRQE, Martin is obsessed with Bieber and even has a tattoo of Bieber on his leg.

But for some reason Martin blew the whistle on his accomplices -- and Staake was arrested in Vermont on outstanding warrants before carrying out the deed.

Ruane made it to NY with a stash of tools -- including pruning shears -- but according to the report police intercepted him before anything happened, and placed him under arrest.

Seriously???
I mean yes he's annoying, but I don't want to kill him. Celebrity just can't be worth it ...there's no such thing as a normal life .

I never caught Bieber Fever, but this is beyond wrong. If you don't like the kid, just change the channel. He isn't a criminal, just an entertainer. Let's not castrate the poor guy

This is the downside of being famous. Every crazy person in the world either wants to kill you or accuse you of fathering their child. Justin Bieber may need to be extra careful with the people around him. Because of his fame his life is in grave danger. He can't walk alone in a park or dine alone in a restaurant like an ordinary person. That's sad.

Adam Levine Slams Honey Boo Boo

Adam Levine refuses to redneckognize. In a new GQ interview, the Maroon 5 singer has a few choice words for the stars of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, the TLC reality hit about seven-year-old pageant queen Alana Thompson and her family.

"Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the decay of Western civilization. Just because so many people watch the show doesn't mean it's good," Levine scoffed.

The Voice judge didn't stop there. "So many people witness atrocities and can't take their eyes away from them, but that doesn't mean they're good," he fumed. "That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That's. Ever. Happened."

Why the strong feelings about Honey Boo Boo? "It's complete f***ing ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids. F*** those people," Levine declared. "You can put that in the magazine: F*** those idiots. They're just the worst. Sorry, I'm so sensitive to that -- like, I don't know, man, it's upsetting. Just to clarify, I said, 'F*** those people!'"

That's some pretty intense bashing for a family that's done nothing worse than give their daughter "go-go juice" and coach her for talent competitions. Yes, we know that it's fashionable to trash Honey Boo Boo, just like it was trendy to talk smack about Jersey Shore when it premiered in 2009. But calling it an "atrocity" and "the decay of Western civilization?" We have to wonder if he's even seen the show; for our money, the Thompsons have more genuine love for each other than the Kardashians and a better perspective on life than most of the Real Housewives. Their parenting styles and extracurricular activities (child beauty pageants, jumping in mud puddles) may be in questionable taste, but less questionable than the three steady years of nonstop drinking and clubbing that The Situation engaged in. Most importantly, the Thompsons have a sense of humor about themselves, and seem pretty unfazed by their newfound fame. As reality stars go, there are far worse role models than June and her brood.

So why does the show make people like Levine so angry? For him, it seems personal: he doesn't want his hard work as a mentor on The Voice lumped into the same "reality TV" category as shows like Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. And it's true: they're totally different things. But let's face it: June Thompson isn't going to destroy Western civilization, and Adam Levine isn't going to save it. As long as people are being entertained by The Voice and Honey Boo Boo, they'll find room for both on the DVR.

What's your opinion ... do you think Adam is taking Honey Boo Boo personal  or just venting  wind ? HeHe

Australian Radio Station Donating $500K in Guilt Money to Nurse Family

The Australian radio station responsible for the prank phone call that led to British nurse Jacintha Saldanha's suicide ... is planning to give her family about half a million bucks.

The corporation that owns 2DayFM announced it will donate all the station's advertising profits for the rest of the year to a fund set up to support Saldanha's 2 teenage children and husband.

The company estimates the total donation will be around 320,000 British pounds ... or roughly $500,000.

2DayFM's generous donation comes the day after it pulled the plug on the show that placed the prank call to Kate Middleton's hospital room ... with one of its DJs pretending to be Queen Elizabeth.

Saldanha transferred the call to Kate's room, and was found dead near the hospital a few days later.

Wondering :
I hope the information about the 12 year old wasn't live...,.That would be an Invasion of Privacy
As for the $1000 gag, that's a little low.
If they keep violating the broadcast codes, why still have the station on the air? Time to look at the bigger honchos instead of the Radio DJs. They are the ones who are allowing this behavior to continue and even encourage it .

Those DJ's should never work in any form of media again. They are responsible for what happened, no matter how extreme. If they didn't do what they did, that woman would still be alive.

Yes, these dj's and station needs to have something done about them. A hospital and sick patient should never have been chosen for a victim to begin with. If your job duties involve pranking then you should know better than to prank Hospitals etc They are there to save lives and care for sick people. They aren't there for the amusement and entertainment of radio dj's. You always take a risk if you prank someone you know nothing about.

There is a mentality out there , that appeals to some people ...to humiliate someone .
But , you tend to forget that some people get off on saying or doing anything for attention or money.
This woman that killed herself , just was an innocent bystander ..
She may have been of a different culture , for instance , didn't she come from a country that has honor killings ,
It is a big world out there and we are not all alike ..Technology makes you interact before you think.
I am sure these DJs feel awful , but given some of the other stuff that didnt stop the station......they pushed the envelope for money and ratings.
This woman wouldn't be the first pushed over the edge by people looking for ratings.either..people should stop and think
They were not calling someone in show business or media ..this woman didn't expect to be pranke
"Be kind because everyone you meet is fighting a battle".

This is a lesson. Even if we as outsiders maybe don't understand the nurse decision to commit suicide it teaches us that we never know what a person struggles with.

"Be kind because everyone you meet is fighting a battle".

This is a lesson. Even if we as outsiders maybe don't understand the nurse decision to commit suicide it teaches us that we never know what a person struggles with. Thats why everyone need to be kind.

I've read articles saying the nurse was humiliated by the prank call. People wonders if she had other struggles as well.

To the DJs, you can't humiliate someone in the name of entertainment without there being consequences.

Screwing around with private medical information should be criminal, thanks to these two it will become even more difficult for families and friends to get information about loved ones as the knee jerk politicians make a flurry of new laws.

Actions have consequences. No the DJs didn't make the lady take her life, but their selfish actions caused her undue additional stress which led to her death.

The fact is this Radio Station, put this woman, a private citizen up for international ridicule and this has ultimately led to her not being able to handle it and killing herself.

Australian Radio Station : History of Airing Dangerous Pranks

There's some serious hypocrisy at the Australian radio station that pulled the plug on the Kate Middleton pranksters -- because the station has a history of setting up dangerous stunts ... some purposely designed to cause panic and mayhem.

2DayFM's "Kyle and Jackie O" show aired a segment called "Desperate Acts" back in 2009 ... where a listener was given $1,000 to call her sister and convince her their mother was injured, bleeding, and in need of medical attention.

It worked ... the sister called 911 and sent paramedics speeding to the mother, who was totally fine.

That hoax prompted a police investigation.

Later in 2009 ... Kyle and Jackie O hooked up a teenager to a lie detector while her mother grilled her about her sex life. The stunt blew up in their faces when the girl suddenly revealed she had been raped when she was 12.

That segment led to another police investigation, and got the DJs a week-long suspension.

Additionally, 2DayFM has reportedly been on probation multiple times for violating Australia's broadcast code.

Despite getting repeatedly slapped on the wrist for their stunts ... 2DayFM honchos still signed off on Michael Christian and Mel Greig pulling the Kate prank.

2DayFM's response to the nurse's death has been that "no one could have predicted" the tragedy -- arguably true -- but they've also broadcast stunts where tragedy is not only foreseeable, but desired.

So, canceling the DJ's show ...is it hypocritical?

Just a thought :
"Be kind because everyone you meet is fighting a battle".

This is a lesson. Even if we as outsiders maybe don't understand the nurse decision to commit suicide it teaches us that we never know what a person struggles with. Thats why everyone need to be kind.

All those saying that this lady should have gotten over it..unless you have been in such a situation where you are in your place of work doing your normal job and something like this happens you have absolutely no idea how you would deal with it.

They are only paying so the family won't sue them and get even more money! These 2 DJ's was reckless, and in my opinion illegal, actions are responsible for the death of another human being. Although they did not intend for this to happen with their "prank", the fact remains that another human being committed suicide over this prank. When you are raised in an enviroment where "family honor" or just plain "honor" is valued more than death, some people see suicide as the only option to atone for their perceived dishonor. Here in America there is something called "manslaughter" and here what the DJ's caused would be enough to have them charged with a crime. Here you can be charged in the death if your actions directly or indirectly caused the death. CHEW ON THAT AUSTRALIAN DJ'S.
