Elizabeth Taylor friends and family celebrated the late Hollywood legend's life at a private memorial service Sunday .
Tha actress and activist died at 79 last March.
Colin Farrell hosted the 75-minute event at Steven J. Ross Theater on the Warner Bros. lot , which was attended by some of Taylor's closest famous friends , including Elton John and Michael Caine.
Her children , Christopher Wilding , Liza Todd and Maria Burton also paid tribute along with her stepdaughter Kate Burton.
In addition to speeches , there was music.
Taylor's grandson , Rhys Tivey , played "Amazing Grace" on the trumpet , and Elton John performed the song "Blue Eyes."
