Katy Perry landed in Jaipur, India , surrounded by rumors that she was tying the knot with Russell Brand this weekend , so it seemed fitting that the pop singer sported a traditional nose ring.
The exotic gold chain - also known as a nath - ran from the singer's right nostril to her ear , covering her right cheek.
The nath is traditional worn by Indian brides on their wedding day , until being removed on the wedding night by the groom to symbolize her virinity ending . The Daily Mail reported that Perry chose to have the piercing done in London rather than waiting until she arrive in India.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand married Saturday after meeting at the 2009 MTV Video Mucis Awards just over a year ago and getting engaged in India in January.
The singer and comedian wed at a luxury resort in northern India before leaving today. Perry's 26th birthday , for a honeymoon in the Maldives, a tiny tropical nation of islands in the Indian Ocean.
Rihanna was stuck in the recording studio and missed the wedding . She is one of Perry's best friends and attended at her Las Vegas bachelorette party last month.

When I seen Katy in the Star magazine with those glasses I was sure she had her nose pierced.
