Oksana Meets With Top Family Law Attorney

Oksana Grigorieva left the offices of one of the most prominent family law attorneys in Los Angeles — after meeting with him for two hours in her ongoing custody war with Mel Gibson.
We’ve learned Oksana has met with Sorrell Trope — considered one of the toughest family law attorney in the divorce bid. In the past, Trope’s firm has represented the likes of Brooke Mueller, Victoria Hopper, Anna Nicole Smith and Britney Spears.
So far, Oksana has not been able to squeeze more money out of Mel Gibson since she signed the settlement agreement with him back in May — a settlement she is now trying to disavow.
Oksana is currently getting $5,000/month in child support for baby Lucia. TMZ broke the story … her current lawyers are asking the judge to up that to more than $40,000/month, but the judge hasn’t ruled.


Mel, $5,000 is a little cheap for the care and welfare of your little daughter, when you consider just how much you have. Don't punish the baby just to punish Oksana.
 I don't really see what Oksana has done to warrant the kind of treatment you have been dealing out to her. You must have known she was after your money and celebrity from the start. Or were you arrogant enough to believe she loved you for yourself?
I think you are angry with her because of your own behavior. You left your wife after a jury-rigged divorce, bought a house for your new family and from all appearances became abusive toward your girlfriend when you couldn't mold her into what you wanted. You regretted leaving your wife and half your fortune behind and blamed Oksana for your decision. Support your baby without whining and improve your image a bit with the world. Just a little armchair analysis.

Have you heard the one about Oksana Grigorieva accusing ex Timothy Dalton of abuse, not unlike what she's currently claiming against Mel Gibson? Well, her lawyer has, and he's calling bunk.

E! News sat down with attorney Daniel Horowitz, ( one of the lawyers on 'Team
Oksana')  who discussed the "cowards" on Team Mel, Oksana's newly jacked
up child-support payments and an appearance on a certain daytime talk show…
Asked about a TMZ report claiming Grigorieva lodged similar abuse allegations against Dalton, with whom she has a teenage son, Horowitz refutes the claim.
"The lie is from the people who made that accusation. Here's my face. Where's the face of the person who made that accusation? It doesn't exist. Ghosts can say anything. Ghosts can leak anything. But they are cowards".
"All I can say is I'm used to beating up cowards. I just beat up a coward on air. Show your face."

As far as the child support payment increase for Oksana and Mel's daughter, Lucia,
Horowitz understands that $20,000 a month (a nice increase from $5,000 a month)may seem outrageous to us normal folk, but for Hollywood, it's the norm. The judge said, "by Hollywood standards, this is the standard and correct number and I don't want to hear any arguments that somehow she should get less than any other child."

Lastly, will Oprah Winfrey be in Grigorieva's future? "Who is Oprah? No comment on anything about that." Hmm, a little bird told us the the Oksana-Oprah summit was a done deal. We'll have to wait and see.
