Diana' Trailer: Naomi Watts Falls in Love as The People's Princess

The seemingly endless parade of teasers and trailers usually end up being slightly remixed versions of the same footage, but that's not the case with this international trailer for "Diana."

Starring Naomi Watts as the late Princess of Wales, "Diana" traces the tumultuous, post-Charles years of her life, specifically her doomed love affair with heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan. This trailer gives us a better look at Watts's transformation into the Princess, from her perfectly coiffed blonde hair to her slightly breathy voice. The trailer also shows her growing interest in humanitarian causes, and how she earned the nickname The People's Princess.

Khan, who is played by Naveen Andrews, isn't prepared for the onslaught of media attention that follows Diana wherever she goes; their budding relationship is quickly complicated by Dr. Khan's desire for a normal life and Diana's insistence that love can conquer all.

"If I married you, I'd have to marry the whole world as well," he protests.

Things get even stickier when Dodi Fayed enters the picture, especially when those infamous photos of them on his yacht surface.
