Eva La Rue's husband, Joe Cappuccio, has filed for divorce from the CSI: Miami star.
Cappuccio, a seafood businessman, filed papers Jan. 3 citing irreconcilable differences. He requested that La Rue not receive spousal support. No date of separation was listed.
The couple were married for three years.
La Rue – who plays Det. Natalia Boa Vista on the crime drama – acknowledged on Twitter on Thursday that she and her daughter Kaya, 12, (who's from her second marriage to All My Children star John Callahan), were going through an "emotional time."
The 47-year-old told PEOPLE in 2008 that she hadn't planned on getting married again after two failed marriages and even warned Cappuccio on their first date.
"I told him, 'I'm looking for a long-term companion, but I don't see the sense in getting married again,' " she said..
"But within a month or two, we were both on the wedding train," she added.
The pair married in a lavish celebration on the beach in Mexico.
