J.K. Rowling Prepping 'Harry Potter' Prequel Stage Play : The Boy Who Lives lives on !

Though the seven-part "Harry Potter' series is over , J.K. Rowling isn't done telling stories within the universe . Her supplemental book , Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," is getting made into a movie . And now , according to The Holywood Reporter , Rowling is developing a prequel for the stage .

She won't write the play , but co-produce the theatrical with Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender .

The Play will focus on Harry's life before his time at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry , when he was a young child living with the Dursleys at No.$ Privet Drive .

Here's the Synopsis :

This brand new play , which will be developed for the UK theatre , will explore the previously untol story of Harry's early years as an orphan and outcast . Featuring some of our favorite characters from the Harry Potter books , this new work will offer a unique insight into the heart and Mind of the now legendary young wizaed . A seemingly ordinary boy , but one for whom Destiny has plans ...***

The producers are looking for a writer and director and eyeing a 2015 premiere in the U.K.
