I thank you for your concern and after I calmed down I realize what I could have lost, I have been through so much with Mae, she is my only sister I have three brothers .
I know Mae's health is what is important and she is very fragile now and she is in a safe and happy place with Joanna. My sweet lady now I know where my daughter and Nanette got their meanness from.
It was a wake up call for all of us about Mae's health even mine as you know I am no spring chicken, just a rooster with his spurs trimmed, but I still strut my stuff.
I understand exactly what you are saying about Betts and I , myself have never cared for the lady but I didn't have to stay with her so it was insignificant to me so I had nothing to say until she started at Mae.
I know Betts is not worth the hurt she's cause but we all have bounced back.
My dear sweet lady, Betts will bounce back and land on her feet like a cat ,Betts left her husband to joined Leon here when he was my driver , Betts, as I hear it called her husband and said she wanted to come home so he's taking her back. The sister that is here to help her move back is the lady that showed up here to see my son. Leon told me that my son told her he didn't ask her to come and he found the woman he was going to marry .My son told her (Dora) they was not an item just like the other ladies in his life that she was aware off and he never made her any promises.She and the others ladies knew they was open relationships.
Everyone here tried to treat Betts nice and include her in things, when Betts arrived here she really wanted my daughter's job because she was the lady my son wanted instead of her sister. My daughter put up with her for a while just to keep the peace at the casino, about two or three weeks later we all found out what my daughter was made off, my daughter is a hot headed hell cat and everyone including myself was surprised how cool headed she was when this incident happen.
My son took my gun and my car keys and told everyone not to let me have theirs, I said I may want to go to the store and he said ride your scooter. I told him I was his father, he said true but I am your boss and you are acting like a child. My son said dad you have to much to look forward to and not wreck your life over something you have no control over. Who will the Man (gilly) have to play with when Jill and Sharon go to school?
My dear lady I am in control now and the in house begger and myself is having a ball stealing the hot bread , but I sure wish my son would go to work he is a pain in the ass, but a good son but he don't pull any punches, my daughter says he is just like me, says what is on his mind, mean it and will back it up. looking at my only son I am glad he takes charge and have a level head.Enough about me for now I am back on track where I left off.
My dear sweet lady how is your dear mother? Is she keeping everyone in high gear? I am around her age and I keep these people here on their toes, they made me sheriff of the compound as they called it. I hope the weather is cool for her. I found out the hot weather makes young people like your dear mother and I cranky, but we are still lovable. Tell her hello and I am still on the lookout for her Romeo I hope it put a smile on her face.
My dear lady how is your dear husband? My daughter told me the two of you went sailing on the lake along and had a picnic on board, how nice that was to get away alone and here's hoping he is doing well and steady improving. I asks my daughter and she says he doing well, that is good to here.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad Mae is doing well and is comfortable and happy.I think she is better where she is than anywhere else. You can keep a close eye on her.
I sensed you had a pretty formidable temper when you're pushed too far and Betts pushed all your buttons. What a piece of work she is.
You don't need that kind of stress. It's murder on the blood pressure. I know that because my husband has a heart condition and high blood pressure also.
When you retire, you don't just give up going to the office, you give up being so responsible for everyone. They are all grown up and well able to take care of themselves.That will be the hardest thing to let go of if you ever do. You are so family oriented.
My Brian is the same way. He was recently very upset with one of our grandaughters for getting herself pregnant. It's her life and she's old enough to make decisions even if they are bad ones. He won't let go of it though. He's like a dog with a bone.
Yes you are an old rooster but you no doubt still crow a bit around the henhouse.I think you're right about a couple of those hens being pretty tough customers.
You know it does sound like your son is like you, a very take charge guy. That's a good thing. You can relax and have confidence in him. He really is the boss isn't he? All bosses can be a pain in the ass, they're so bossy. But he means well.
The heat continues up here as it does all around the world.It's a bit scary because it is a sign of things to come.
Nana does get a bit crankier when she gets over-heated, but she is cranky even when she is in a good mood so who notices? She still keeps us on our toes. She doesn't suffer fools around her.
We love to get away on our boat together without a crowd of people along but it doesn't happen very often. We should make it happen. I should practice what I preach. Brian is always so relaxed out there. And sometimes he gets a bit frisky out there.We have a nice little cabin on board to retreat to.
Well, I'm off to bed. I need my rest, I'm picking up my twins tomorrow for a sleep-over and they sure know how to wear me out. But I love it. Hope to hear from you soon
